This is a top-notch Chinese Martial Arts school. The chief instructor has more than 2 decades of experience, and it shows. The forms are not dumbed down at all, and are challenging so that you will never be bored. The chief instructor spends his own money to visit China on a regular basis in order to train with his Chinese teachers.Attending a Chinese Martial Arts school is very much like being a member of a family, and that's the feeling you'll get here. Everyone truly cares about everyone else. I would still be there if I hadn't had to move. You can't get this from a DVD, or a McDojo.

I have really enjoyed my time at Thomas academy, the staff is knowledgeable and patient with every level of martial artist. The other students are always friendly and more than willing to include new comers to the school. If you are looking for great authentic Kung Fu this is the place to check out.
“I love Thomas Academy, because I learn about weapons and respect and self-defense. Shirfu and ShirJ are the best teachers ever!” Quote from my daughter who has been taking Kung Fu for 4 years. She is 8 now.We tried, other Martial Arts schools before settling with Thomas Academy. There is no pressure to learn a form, or any yelling, just patience and respect from all that teach the classes.I take Tai Chi, and it is so relaxing and helpful for my back. I feel at ease in the classes to learn the forms at my pace. If I could give this a rating of 10 stars, I so would. I recommend this school for all ages.
Do not train here. They are very money hungry and will do what ever they can to take your money. True sam adams does have extensive knowledge but he is over ran with greed. Example: when i was a student myself and others were told we could pay in advance for the hoodies extreme thai boxing sold so my self and others paid 50.00 to them trusting we'd recieve them about a month later the school abruptly moved and once at the new location they said the hoodie order was lost and there would be no refunds. Example: dont sign their contract keep it month to month! Myself as well as other former students have made this mistake. I signed their contract for one year. At one point i was unable to pay the 80.00 they wanted. Courtney told me i could just pay half from now on which i thought was very nice. About a month later i had to stop training there due to finances. Of course i would pay the rest of my contract however they made it personal that i was leaving the gym and charged me the full price of 80.00 per month for the remaining time i had to pay for. When i said we had a verbal agreement of 40.00 per month they bold face said that never happend and attempted to report me for lack of payment. After that i recieved many hateful text amd emails because i could lnt afford to train there. This has happend to atleast three other former students. Example: one student couldnt afford to test at their school so when test day came around the abruptly called the student out in class and informed everyone how poor they where and how they needed to manage their money better. They will talk about you behind your back. I witnessed it first hand. I dont know why people are this evil im guessing money driven is the term. In short stay away. While i did learn a few new things. I spent most of my time teaching the classes to new comers while sam adams trained by him self or sat in his officeStttaaay away!!
