How does a plumbing company like Williams Plumbing and Drain get such a high rating with the BBB? I chose this company because of the high rating. My mistake, should have consulted friends and family, because if I had I would never have chose this company. No one had anything good to say about them, even a family member that works for a large business said their company would never use them again. I had them out to deal with an issue where it took 10 minutes to get hot water to the kitchen. They sold me a product (Instahot hot water heater) that stopped working after less than a week. First of all it did not fix the issue. Even though I was assured this would work for us. After it was installed it gave us a tiny stream of hot water, and hot water maybe lasted a minute. I expressed my dissatisfaction at the time, but was told this is how they work. I paid everything in advance so nothing I could do. It ended up costing me $1,300. I called the company after it stopped working. I was told they would send someone out due to the fact it was not working, but would charge a service fee. I told them I was not going to pay any more money to them. After several weeks of talking to several different people, and getting a rude supervisor, who on several occasions pretty much told me I was lying about what I was told, they finally said they would refund for the Instahot heater ($250.00). I did not think this was a fair resolution. I told them this was unacceptable. They said take it, or leave it. I issued a complaint to the BBB. After weeks of responses and saying things that were not true, they again offered $250.00. Again I told them this was unacceptable. It has been over a month and I have not heard any response, nor do I expect to. I will never use this company again, and will never rely on BBB rating to choose a business.

A couple years back I called because there was water rapidly flowing from under my parents house (crawl space). The guy came out with his apprentice the first time and all he did was stabbed a T-handle in the ground and said, "Yup... you got a leak" (15min of work to tell me something I already knew). He said he would get back with us mid week to start on it. Two days later I called and he stated he had went out again to check on it when I wasn't there. He said it was still to wet to start on it. I asked him if he shut the water off and he said no. I told him it would NEVER be dry under that house if he didn't turn the water off. He stated he put a pump under the house to dry out out. When I went to check the situation , I noticed it was MY PUMP from the garage and the water was still gushing out from under the house. I called him back and left a voice mail telling him I was shutting the water off to the house because it would never dry out under those conditions. He called back the next day, 4 days after the initial contact, and said he came out again and it was still wet under the house and he wouldn't be able to work on it. When I called his boss to complain about the time it was taking and lack of knowledge the plumber had in plumbing, his boss replied with, "So what do you want me to do". ARE FREAKING KIDDING ME?? The plumber called me within the hour and proceeded to tell me I owed him $400 for him and his apprentices time. I asked him what the apprentice did and he stated he rode with him to the location. I said I wasn't paying him for the apprentice. He didn't need the apprentice to follow him around and stab a T-handle in the ground. He made the comment, "OH... you're one of those f***s trying to skip out on your bill". I asked him to repeat himself and he went off for me calling his boss. He proceeded to tell me he was going to "whoop my ass". Little did he know... I love to throw down in T-town! I gave him every opportunity, but he never showed up.

William's Plumbing & Drain Service is a class act. I called them out on an emergency for one of my customers that had raw sewage backing up in their store and they were out in no time at all and got them all fixed up. It's kind of hard when you are calling from out of state and need help but William's just jumped right in and got my customer out of a big jam. I really appreciate their professionalism and integrity. I will be calling them again and again!! :o)

Scheduled an appointment.....plumber never showed up to our home. Called and spoke with Toni.....WOW!!! I've never spoken to someone so rude. She basically told me they are having 'employee problems' and I should be more understanding. I took the entire day off work for this appointment. I called Mullins Plumbing and explained my problem...within 40 minutes they sent out two plumbers, did an excellent job!!!! I'm sticking with MULLINS Plumbing. True professionals I every way.......

We had our sewer back-up on us. Jason was the first tech on-site to troubleshoot. He was very professional and arrived called me before arriving. He could not get the line cleared, so he requested that a water jet be brought out. Carl was onsite within the hour with the water jet or something and a camera, and they found the issue was a broken pipe out near the sidewalk. They thoroughly explained the situation and my options. We moved forward with the entire sewer replacement, in addition to a new water line at the same time. When they dug up the connection at the sidewalk, they also determined that both neighbors were connected at that location. We talked both neighbors into replacing their lines as well, to eliminate the hassle of having to dig up our front yard again in the future. The crew were very courteous and made sure to communicate everything that was happening and answer any questions we had about the process. Joe went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with their services, tying in daily to explain where they were in the process and what was left to be done. I definitely will recommend Williams to my friends and family. We plan to have more pluming work done in our house this fall, and I will be calling Williams.

Kit was here on April 11th and I was very, very satisfied with his work. Not only did he do the work, but he explained what he was doing at every stage. He did three separate items for me. He was very professional and courteous as all of the employees have been whenever I've had Williams out. I've been using Williams every time since I moved here to Tulsa in 1998.

I called this morning about a replacement toilet, got a prompt and courteous return call from Troy. Troy located the fixture, delivered and installed it after first reviewing the scope and estimated cost with me. This is the best and most professional experience I have ever had with a plumbing company. Troy was a pleasure to work with, and I will not hesitate to call on Troy and Williams Plumbing should I have need in the future.

I called your Owasso number this morning prior to your business hours and spoke with your answering service. The answering service was polite and obtained my contact information. Within an hour, one of your employees, Kip, called me. He listened to the issues I was having and provided me with a quote. Within an hour of our conversation, he was at my home and had started the requested repairs. It took him less than 1.5 hours to complete the work. From the moment he walked into my home until he left, he was professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. He also answered all of my questions so that I could understand what he was doing and why it was necessary.

VERY PROFESSIONAL AND CARING. Glad I called these guys. A friend recommended Williams Plumbing. I had a slab leak and I know that these jobs usually take a few days to fix. Chris kept me in the loop the whole time. The whole crew worked hard to get me back up and running. Hope I never have to call them again but if I do get a plumbing problem, I will only call them. SO glad I called Williams

I had a leak under my house. I called Mullin out and they told me that it was going to take two days to fix it and $1050. I wanted another opinion so I called Williams. So glad I did. The technician, Joe, came out and crawled under my house. When he came out, he told me that he could fix it that day and it would only cost $ 250. I couldn’t believe it. I felt very angry that Mullin would try to rip me off. If I wouldn’t have called Williams Plumbing I would have been out an extra $800 and another day of waiting for my plumbing to work. Beware of crooked companies. Thank God I called Williams.

Thursday, Feb. 9th I called Williams plumbing about some work I need done. I talk to one of the girls in the office at phone number 918-451-0055. I told her just what I needed done. She said some one would be in touch with me in a couple of hours. Sometime between 10:00 and 10:30 a man named Russell called me back and I told him, I needed the waste steel pipe and drains replaced, the shower and out side faucet replaced along with a new stool sit after the pipe was replace and the water that had collected under house from the stool pipe leaking pumped out. Russell said it would be late afternoon before he could get a plumber out to me. So I told him it would be ok to wait until Friday Feb 10th . He then said now this will cost about $850.00. Which I said ok.
Friday Feb 10th between 8:00 and 8:30 one of Williams plumbers called for directions to our house. After giving him the direction he advised me that the job would be about $850.00 which I said ok. Some time after 9:00 am the plumber arrived and took a look under the house (the drains that need replaced are approximating 5 feet from the crawl hole) He then said he would have to go to his truck and figure the cost. In a few minutes he came back with a contract for me of $3200.00 to sign. I ask him how could you go from $850.00 to $3200.00. He said well I have to crawler under your house into hazardous material. (There was no human waste under the house just some water and it was 4 feet from where he had to work) Since my wife was very sick and I needed to get the job done and not wait other 3 days for other plumber. I agreed and sign the contract for $3000.00. After I signed the contact the plumber left to get the material to change out the steel pipe and he returned around 11:30 or so and went to work.
I furnished all the faucets and the stool that he replace. The plumber left around 7:00pm
Over that weekend the more I thought about how we had been taken advantage of the madder I got. So Thursday Feb 16th I called Williams plumbing back and talk to Russell again and said he would have the manager call me back. I also e-mail a Justin Williams on their web site. Justin e-mail back and said he would have his management team get back with me. Some time that afternoon I received a call from Erick. After some heated discussion. . Erick offered me a $500.00 rebate. Which at first I said no too but minutes later called him back and told him I would take his $500.00. I also e-mailed Justin and said I would be a happy camper / customer if they gave me $500.00 back (but I am not)
A job that they told me would be $850.00 starts at $3200.00 (which had they told me It was going to be $3200.00 at the beginning I would have called other plumbing co. at that time) ends up being $3000.00 and rebated back to $2500.00 for about 7 hours of work which I even had to assist him with. Lets see now about $150.00 in material subtracted from the $2500.00 would make me paying them $335.00 per hour!

Yes - under dearest I sign the first contract for $3000.00 at the time I just needed the job done!
Yes - I signed second contract for $2500.00
Yes I said I would be a happy customer with my rebate, but I’m not!

It’s a sign of our times that companies like Williams can take advantage of senior citizens and others the why they did us.
According to Erick their plumbers can charge what they wish for jobs without any set guide lines for the cost from the company!

Happy Customer

My wife called Williams Plumbing and I am impressed. We had company over for the holiday and there was water all over the floor. The tech unclogged my washer and kitchen drain right before it got worse. I recommend this company!!

Wouldn't hire them again to flush my toilet.

Worst contractor experience I've ever had. Several mistakes required return trips to correct. Came in way over the bid. Would highly NOT recommend.
