Virginia College exploits the poor. They overcharge for "degrees/diplomas" that you can receive by doing on the job training. Only exception is Cosmetology. Those that work there are racist, but not against whites; against blacks. Which is sad because it is because of the poor blacks that they are able to have jobs. Credits don't transfer. I wouldn't even send my dog there for obedience training.

worst school, please do not waist your time or money, every thing is old no updates made at all,if you have questions they do not return phone calls.all they care about is getting your money, this school needs to be investigated,
I use to go there about 2002-2004. It's still that today even.
It is a very nasty school, low student moral and no excitement in learning. No updated teaching system. This school is one of the worst I have ever been to............
If I could rate Clary sage Beauty college with negative stars I would! I have never, in my entire life, received such horrible service at a business of any kind. Not only were the hair services terrible but the customer service given by the staff at the counter was the worst I've ever received anywhere. The "man" I spoke to was so arrogant and condescending that I literally asked if I was on a hidden camera show! I will most certainly be calling the BBB and the over all person in charge herself. I am astonished that my first visit here was so bad! I almost vomited I was so disgusted with these people, about 6 of them ganged up on my 60 yeah old mom as I. Ken, or Kent something and Beverly are the names I remember right now.
From what I have heard about the Virginia College in Tulsa, OK is that it is a very racist toward whites and is very unprofessional and make up their own rules as they go. I would not reccommend anyone to work there or attend this school unless you want to get screwed over.
I heard this school was the best in Oklahoma so I decided to go there. The first day I was very unimpressed. The teacher didn't even know how to use the bruise makeup wheel correctly. To me and my classmates we've decided that the makeup artistry program there is a joke and no one cares about the students in that program. We get makeup that I've never heard of and the mannequin heads that we use are all ratted and nasty. This school is mainly focused on the cosmetology program. If you don't know a thing about makeup go ahead and go here but if you are actually wanting to go far in your career, chose a different school. Very upset that I wasted my money.
This is not a place to obtain an education for the older student. If you like a High School atomosphere and what is suppose to be a self paced but is actually do it on your own education then I guess this is the place of higher learning you would choose.Even the van driver at the time of my attendance there was attending TCC, which I am sure accounted for here inability to pick up students on time or when scheduled. Not the place for one to attend and be an older student .I would also say this is not a place for an older student do to the no-attention payed to that type of students needs. I had an instructor if that is what she chose to call herself state that she was an excellent paper writer and if help writting the assigned paper was needed she would be more than happy to help, only when I asked for the help in this she told me to google it.....wth. I asked for specific help in many areas of my study while there but was told I just was not reading, how much can one read without proper instruction. The intake persons were no better the only thing they could use to get a student to stay was the promise of the little checks you would recieve upon completing each sememster, what a bribe. No this is not the learning institution I would choose as any student but especially an older one trying to go back to school.
They are really good until you tell them about your birth control plan if its anything like mine was. Mine was basic pill and protection and every doctor or nurse I told rolled their eyes and laughed under their breath or made annoyed sounds. The pediatrics are amazing! I take a small booklet of questions with me everytime i go and the doctors kindly write down their responses so i have them for referance.
I've taken both of my nieces here and they had a ball. We all painted pieces, and they got to keep their work as a souvenir of the experince. It's a little more expensive than doing it at home, but the ceramics are fired, and you get to use all of their paints and glazes.
