The staff doesn’t know what they are talking about. They need to train their employees correctly on the membership information. I was told I could try a month and opt out before the second auto draft went through for the next month on a certain day. Before that certain day I was auto drafted again before I could even cancel from what the lady said. I only wanted to try a month/ didn’t like it. Great for the elder ladies and ones who want to tan... but not for me! Super disappointed with the how they handled it as well. I was just told pretty much too bad come cancel so you won’t get charged the third month....
The only visible representative to the 71st and Yale location for me was a woman named P... that reminded me of some people that I know that struggle with personality disorders. Initially she was pleasant and inviting; but then without notice during an about 7 minute visit, became inappropriately angry, +rude, refused to lower her voice, walked away, and slapped documents on the table saying that other clients "Do as they are TOLD!!!" (I previously expressed apprehension about getting on the scale.)She demonstrated no sensitivity to the unique needs of an obese woman, and would not consider my need to guard my personal information. But what was the anger about? Was she supposed to be individualizing a plan to meet my needs, or was I now having to create a plan to meet hers? At the point that I declined to answer a personal question, she demonstrated instant anger. began to yell, would not lower her voice or adjust the way she was speaking, and appeared unable to calm or regulate herself/ to regroup. I attempted to calm her by apologizing three times for anything that I might have said or done- it didn't touch her. Although she realized that she misspoke, and was wrong- she didn't calm. Even more disappointing was the response to my complaint. No one can be expected to know what any given employee will do in the future. We do our best when hiring to pick the person for the job. But their response to P's actions was in my opinion- unacceptable. One week after my initial complaint, I had to call again because the owner never followed up as promised. He did state that my attending during the evenings would mean I wouldn't have to see P. He suggested that I should limit my life to workout when P is not there- after 6 pm. Should I do this Forever? Is that the answer? I had invited him to review his tapes to see the interaction, and that even without sound, P's walking away, slamming the papers on the table, folding her arms, and other gestures would tell him a lot. When the owner didn't return the call as promised, I then contact the other number- his wife, who listened and then got back to me as she promised. She told me that she wouldn't have behaved in the manner reported, apologized, but stated "I can't make her apologize" .... but she said that if you have any questions she will answer you.' The owner/s wife expected me to re-approach what I consider to be an unstable, unpredictable person with my fitness questions? REALLY? This location is a very tiny place- and it would be impossible to go there during the day without having to see that woman. I even went after P's reported hours, and she was still there. I must say that both the owner and his wife spoke calmly, listened, and were polite. However, they presented as nothing more than a sounding board. Neither one of them expressed shock by my opinion / claim that P exploded. They also didn't offer me an alternative to obtaining the assessment or orientation to the machines that I should have gotten from P. The fact that P may be knowledgeable with fitness issues does not erase her inability to be respectful and professional AT ALL TIMES.The conclusion: This facility's approach is in my opinion, miles away from their franchise head-quarter's presentation of being a supportive place for those seeking improved fitness. I had hoped that this could be a gathering place for a few of my friends to workout together, I am currently looking for another small gym where we will be comfortable, valued and respected.This has been my experience and opinion of what this experience has meant to me. This is the FIRST time I have taken the time to write an online review. Hope this helps you.
I took my HTC M8 to Wireless Spa to get a cracked screen replaced. They said it would take a few hours and it took two days. When they finally had my phone ready the screen wasn’t put in all the way and the top speaker wasn’t working. I checked all the phone’s features after the crack so I know it was working perfectly before I took it in to these guys. When I went back they not only refused to accept any responsibility but told me it would be another 3 days and $40.00 more to fix the speaker. When they took the phone apart again to work on the speaker they broke the front camera as well! After 5 days I finally got my phone back. When I took it to another place to have their damage fixed I found out that the screen can never be put back in correctly because they bent the frame. They were incredibly rude to me and I never did get my money back. If you have an HTC don’t take it to them. THEY WILL BREAK YOUR PHONE!!!!
This is the best gym I have found in Tulsa where I feel comfortable to work out. There are great Zumba classes as well. Staff is awesome.
Best Gym in Tulsa..... If you are looking for the cleanest, most affordable, and judgement free facility then the Health Zone is your place. I love the two salt water aquatics pools, the indoor track, Crossfit, and free yoga and pilates classes.
Nice gym, good exercise equipment, like the free tanning and love the cardio theatre. I also like the 24 hour access. However, the saunas don't work half the time and the last time I went in one, it was filthy. Best thing about this gym? Tracy! Love that guy! Always makes you feel welcome and is great to talk to.
Worst fitness place I have ever been to. I have been trying to cancel my membership for 3mo now and they just keep giving me the run around. DO NOT JOIN

Read the contract before you sign. If you want to sign your life away then by all means go to this place. They are horrible at customer service and give no way of getting out of a contract, even if you are unhappy with their services. We have been trying to cancel our membership for months now with everyone still saying the same things...."you have to talk to this ONE person. We cant make any decisions about cancellations. We will call you when this ONE person is in and you can come back OK. Thank you." WHY DONT YOU GUYS EVER CALL BACK????? Is this ONE person been off this whole time!!!! This is ridiculous! All the time we have been getting charged more fees than we are supposed to and there is no one there that supposedly can help us! DONT GO TO THIS GYM. THEY ARE A SCAM AND WILL NOT HELP YOU AT ALL!!!
I have worked out at several of the gyms in South Tulsa. Sky has been my favorite for variety of classes, cleanliness and basic customer service. There are always plenty of clean towels too!
