I like them.Great security company to work for, very very good people. Better than most I've been around.
I worked for this company when it was Heath investigations and again when it was Diamond . Its garden variety used car parking lot security at best. It isn't any different then any of the other security companies in town. Mike is an ok guy. Most of the supervisors are overworked understandably as that is the norm in this field. But it makes it hard to ask for time off . at best your dealing with people who may or may not have some sort of LE or Military training and are a little bit respectable. but the honesty and integrity part Diamond falls way short on. uniforms are shiny tho .
I worked here for 10 months. During that time, I was ignored completely by the scheduling supervisor, I saw that very same scheduling supervisor giving false hours on her time sheets in which I mean she was supposed to be on site at 0600 and I waited until 0900 and she never showed. I also was told in a post order that I was to make it difficult for other employees calling in sick or with a family emergency, by asking them direct questions about their illness or family emergency. I also was told I was being suspended while my conditional license had expired and I hadn't yet received my cleet license but when I returned I wasn't in the system any more. 2 months later I found out instead of suspending me like they said they were going to, they had fired me. That means my start date reset, also meaning any sort of bonus or time off I got with my one year employment anniversary was pushed off another 5 months. I finally had enough and quit back in October of 2016. My boyfriend was hired by them in February and we went through all the steps of getting him ready to work. They gave him a start date for training. That day I dropped him off 10 minutes before he needed to be there. I drove all the way back home just for him to call me and tell me I had to come back and pick him up. Turns out, the site supervisor had called the very same scheduling supervisor and informed her that I was my boyfriend's emergency contact and all of a sudden he wasn't allowed to work until he got his drivers license, even though he would be sitting at a gate. We finally got his drivers license, called them, and now there's no openings. We've called every 2 or 3 days, they say no openings for the foreseeable future, yet I'm still in contact with 3 or 4 employees from the same site who are telling me about people quitting and always being short. So all that being said, fuck securitas, fuck robin, I'm not going to go quietly.
I starting working for this company part-time while I was finishing my degree, mainly due to the flexible hours and competitive pay. During this time I was able to work various posts and gain a lot of experience in different aspects of security. The company seemed very committed to taking care of both their employees and clients, so I decided to transition to full. There are definite opportunities for advancement and I would highly recommend this company.
Worked for this company for a month. Treated me less than a human being. Very unprofessional then refuses to pay its employees always a excuse to paying it's employees, lost time sheets, no direct deposit, are company doesn't have someone to issue checks at moment ect. Would not recommend them at all
Very professional staff. Highly trained and interested in giving the service that you need. Would highly recommend
Worked there for a little while. Very unorganized. Some posts they'll dress employees up like cops, badge and all, and stick them unarmed in very gang affiliated areas where it is initiation to murder someone with a badge. Probably the lowest paying agency. LOTS of nepotism, from the command structure to refusing to discipline relatives who everyone from the client to other employees constantly complain about. Hours are never set, they can change your hours and only give you a few minutes heads up. Or they'll have you work four hours during the day in one place, then give you maybe six hours to rest and send you to another so your opportunity for a life or even sleep in between is next to none. Don't let that fool you though, they've very good at giving inconvenient hours, then giving you days off or structuring it in a way to where you don't get overtime which is crucial if you're going to basically not be able to work other jobs due to the low pay
This is the best company to guard your busines or residential property their guards don't sleep on the job they are always awake and alert and they do their job to the fullest and beyond their duties to keep staff and employees and the public safe at all times
This company is great. They were very knowledgeable and went over and beyond to ensure safty. Great prices and friendly professional team members. Thank you Guardian Angel Plus Security for your protection.
This company is peanuts, they steal photos from other websites to use on their website. If they were a real security company they would have their own photos on their site.
