I bought my first car from Steve Ecton at Bob Hurley Ford and have since bought a truck with my husband from Steve. We are always treated with resp…
After being given the run around and wasting my time and money, they didn't uphold their end of the bargain. I put $1400 down and was called back the next day to re-sign a different contract and was informed that I needed to put more money down. I came back to re-sign and the Finance Manager advised me that they would front me the $800 until I got pad and that the deal would be done. I asked when they would send the title and he advised me I should have my title in a week or two from the original purchase date. I came back and put another $800 down and was advised yet again that I would need to re-sign a new contract. Much to my regret, I put down the addition $800 and re-resigned. I asked again about the title and was told I should have it in another couple weeks. I told him my temp tag from the original purchase date would be close to expiring, he then had another temp tag put on with a later date. I called the financing company the dealership was using and they still didn't even have the paperwork from the dealership. I informed the finance manager that I'd had the vehicle for close to three weeks and the deal didn't seem to be finalized. I requested to return the vehicle and get my down payment back since this was becoming more time consuming than it should be, he advised me that it wouldn't be possible to return the vehicle. I asked when they would be sending my title since it'd been three weeks since my original down payment and the car hadn't been funded by the financing company. He advised me that my title should be sent later in the week or early the following week. It was only after filing a complaint with the Oklahoma Used Motor Vehicle & Parts Commission that I was able to get their attention in a meaningful way to unwind the deal. I ran a VIN check on the vehicle and noticed two days after giving the car back, their was a lien on the title, which might explain why they didn't give the title to me in a timely fashion under Oklahoma law.
I purchased a car from this company, appeared great, but I was misled, first off. They advertised it as having a remote start, which it did, but they didnt have the remote, or even the key fob, so i had to have it removed because the doors wouldnt lock. The engine looked great, immaculate in fact so i had no reason to suspect...The radio didnt work, had to have it replaced which was fine, I planned on replacing it anyways. What i didnt plan on was having to IMMEDIATELY have the steering rack and CV shaft replaced, over $1000 in repairs just for the steering rack, potentially another thousand for the CV shaft after already spending thousands on this car. Would NOT recommend unless you are a mechanic and know what to look for to make sure they dont rip you off.
Its too bad you have to rate 1 star because they dont deserve that. We bought a car from there for $2000 and before we even had the title (which never arrived and Mike the owner basically said that was our problem) the car lost power while I was driving, caught fire and burnt completely up. I emailed Mike and made him a deal that if he would refund me $1000 we would be ok with that. This happened on Mar 30, I emailed Mike on Mar 31 and he agreed to the refund stating to me that "he takes care of his customers and stands behind his vehicles." He had also wanted to know exactly where, when and how it happened and where the car was at that very moment so he could go look at it. No problem...I emailed him back telling him everything he ask for and where the car was so he could go look at it. He never went to look at it. When it came time to get the check he promised he then added he needed the vehicle back and the title which we never got. He told me this late evening on Monday April 2nd. What was left of the car had been scrapped by the tow company earlier that day because it was a complete and total loss and he could have gotten the pile of charred metal if he would have followed through with what he said. It was all a joke. He never intended on paying us the $1000. On top of that, he wanted me to have it towed to him which would have been right at $400 for the distance. He sold us death trap and didnt care at all. Wish we would have read the reviews before on other sites because its all bad. I cant believe that a business like this is still open. It is never his fault if you notice reading other reviews and that is right on target. Do not buy a car here no matter how good of a "deal" he is making you because they are all junk on the 2 or 3 lots he has. It will cost you in the long run for sure and a good chance of costing in the short run, like in our case, as well. Yeah he really takes care of his customers and stands behind his vehicles.
Allen sold a car to my friend in November 2017. He still hasn't provided a title to this car! Be careful doing business with this man.
The dealership was very helpful with all of my questions. And unlike other dealerships, They weren't pushy or aggressive.
I called before heading out to Hi Tech motors to make sure the vehicles I was interested in were still available (which ended being complete pieces of crap btw). I was told by a woman at the Sheridan location (apparently the 11th location does not have a phone number) that they were. The gate was open so my friend and I walked in. The white office building was locked even though the sign said OPEN. We knocked but no one came to the door. We decided to try the brown shack in the middle of the lot, hoping maybe an employee was inside. What we found was a man sitting in a recliner, wearing nothing but the boxers he had his hand down (if you know what I mean). Shocked, we left the shack immediately and I called the number to the Sheridan location again. A woman answered and apologized, said there should have been employees in the white office building but she would make sure someone was there to help us right away. 1 hour later, after looking through endless rows of what felt like vehicles from a zombie apocalypse movie, I called again and reached the same woman who then told me she was sending the owner, Mike over to the lot. I told her we were probably going to just leave but she convinced us to wait for the owner. Almost 45 min later, the owner Mike arrived with an attitude, complaining about being out in the heat, asking, "So, are you buying a car or not?" When we asked about the man in the shack, he said that was their mechanic. I didn't feel comfortable purchasing a vehicle here because Mike didn't seem to know about the history of the vehicles, where the keys even were to these vehicles, and when we asked if he would go down on price on the vehicles with smashed windows, no radios, ripped upholstery, etc. he laughed and said no. We left and he did not even say good bye. I would never recommend this place to anyone.
Very awesome place to buy a car. The women really take care of you! The men were great too, but the girls really took an interest in you. Awesome cars and great people. Don't recommend often, but great place! Couldn't have been happier with my new car either.
Cars were amazing!! It was kind of hard to choose from, but Brittany took very good care of us. She looked at each car with us and showed us everything. We went on three test drives and actually had a fun time. It's strange to say we had a fun time buying a car, but at this place it's hard not too! Family owned and they took care of us like family. We absolutely loved this environment and definitely recommend!
The perfect car buying experience. Little to no haggling over price. Brittany was honest and not pushy. She was very knowledgeable and made my whole car buying experience a breeze. They had a great selection of cars to choose from.
