Always friendly, fast, inexpensive Mexican American style food! Yummy in this families book! Would recommend instead of fast food everyday!
Went with a work colleague after the U of A basketball game. Open all night. Portions were huge, so much so that I couldn't finish it all at one sitting. Not much ambiance inside, but service very friendly and the price was right. Food cooked correctly with just the right amount of "snap" to the spices. Great place late at night for the munchies!
Ever since they moved locations, the service is horrible. I don't expect to be catered to but even a small greeting at the window would be nice. They don't greet at the speaker any more, they just ask what do I want, and when I'm done ordering they just say ok and that's it. When I pull up to the window they just stand there and wait for me to hand them my card without even telling me the price. I would get a total of 6 words out of them the whole visit. Also one time I went at night and sat in the drive thru for almost 5-6 min and couldn't order because they wouldn't answer the drive thru. So I went somewhere else. Honestly Coronado's on 22nd and kolb is a better deal and they have far better customer service. The only down side is they aren't 24 hr. I've went here for years but I think I'm done with this place.
Highly recommend this place. Great food. Much better quality than Nicos and other Mexican food places in Catalina.
Best Green Corn Tamales in town, hands down! 😄 We drive here from the far east side and the far Northwest side just to get our GC tamales.. We definitely recommend this family owned restaraunt to anyone looking for a delicious hone cooked style meal. We come here many times a month and ALL the items we've tried are wonderful. Good portions with great prices! 🤑 This place is well worth the drive everytime. Can't wait to come back again and again and again. 🤜🤛
We had delicious authentic breakfast burritos today! The customer service from beginning to end was genuine and pfoessional. The portions are appropriately fullfiling & well priced. This is a quiet restaraunt with clean indoor/patio seating. This was our first visit here, but definitely not our last. We can't wait to return soon for more southwest classic dishes!
The margaritas were decent ($8 each), my friends had shrimp salad, which they loved. I had steak fajitas which I could not chew to the point of digestion. Corn tortillas were bomb, rice was decent. Chips were STALE!
Great carne asada at a great price! Everytime we dine in or out, it's delicious... The care asada is meat without the nasty fatty pieces. Good customer service with a clean atmosphere. Food is always fresh & hot! A true Tucson original expierience.
This one is Angela's (or more accurately Angela's Sister's) on wheels NE corner of Prince & Stone. It's a taco truck, but glorious in flavor, quality and spirit! My favorites are the quesadilla, hot dog with everything (beans!) and fantastic, smooth refritos. Salsa stand looks so modest, but one of the best hot sauces I've ever had and great pickled jalepenos. Fast, friendly service and low prices. Who cares no frills?!
Rigo's is a favorite and when we think we can get parking, we love to dine there. Their mini chimi's are to die for and the staff is friendly. Decorated authentically and an overall nice place to eat
