SCAM! REPORTED TO BBB and AZ Attorney General's Office! Charged $860 to seal roof opening where rodents were getting in and potential water leaks. Gustavo (Gus) had told us that it would take one full day. Gus came in around 8:30am the next morning and then disappeared for half the day. He then left around 2pm stating he was done. We had another roofer come in and inspect it the following day and there were still a great deal of holes that are not sealed and Gustavo made it look like he did something with only PAINT! We also have broken roof tile now! We were told by the inspector that it was a horrible job that was NOT done at all and the price was outrageous for what was supposed to be done. Uncle Gus is not licensed nor insured, yet falsifies this on their bogus website and business cards. They also do not show on the BBB. DO NOT USE GUS ROOFING! THEY ARE FRAUDULENT!
I had a repair done to the area around the chimney than painted the inside since they said it was fixed after the paint job got ruined called them back again since it was still under warranty. Had the painter over to paint the outside and he showed me where roof was leaking and rotting trim on house called another professional who said underlaying tar sheet was not sealed and he was surprised a professional roofer had done it he thought it was the homeowner or handyman.
Bad experience with Rincon. They did a tear off of the back section of our flat roof home. they took out the existing foam banking and replaced it with a small cricket. The ponding is now a lake on our roof . They used hot tar which leaked into our garage. Very sloppy!The white coating started peeling off after one week of completion.They said they would come out and look at the problem, but never showed up or called back with information. I got on the roof and fixed it myself! I believe they used old wood or the existing wood that was on the roof for their convenience. My neighbors saw all my problems and shook their heads also! SAD EXPREINCE!!!!
If I could I would give ZERO stars!!!!!!!! Worst company in Tucson...actually ARIZONA! When I started to ask about the "repairs" that were supposedly made, Mr. Steve Cervantes got extremely defensive and told me if I knew so much then I should have "fixed the dam thing yourself". Great way to interact with a customer! When someone gets so defensive when asked questions and having concerns brought up to them, that tells me that the job was not done right and now that you are caught, you are going to throw a fit like a toddler!If you want a good company that is polite and answers questions and addresses concerns, please go elsewhere. If you want to deal with a full grown toddler, then by all means give 'em a call.
Incredibly unprofessional experience with this contractor. I was closing on a house and needed to replace the roof for financing (203k). I received a bid (the highest cost of three bids) that appeared to be professional. However, when I decided to execute the bid, I had to pester them repeatedly to get any response. After getting the run around for 2 weeks they provided a revised (higher) bid; then I was told they acutally did not want the work as they couldn't handle 3-4 pages of paperwork.I called the business immediately and tried to convince them to raise the bid further or if there were conditions they would accept for the work. The mentioned their jobs are regularly $250k - $500k and any paperwork or complications for a $7k-$8k job without immediate payment onsite when the job concludes isn't worth their time.If you are a residential customer, avoid this contractor at all costs. Any job less than $250k is not worth their time.
