I have done business with this customer and they use every trick in the book not to pay you. If you do business with this company you had better get money up front for any work that you do for them. They are terrible at business and constantly give you the run around. The owner is never available no matter when you call and they won't give out their contact info.
Just hired a 6" chipper to chip material from the yard. Started to chip material at small 1/2 to 1" material and would not chip it at all, it actuality bound around the drive shaft and stoped the disc from turning. Opened up the chipping to see what the knife condition was like, to my surprise they are not just blunt, it does not look like they had been changed or even sharpened for some time.Called the weekend after hours number and talked to someone that knew nothing, on top of that he tried to say when the last customer did not complain, and he had it for 5 days. Just maybe he should only had it for 1 day if the knifes where sharp. I asked can we replace these knifes, he said no talked to the maintenance manager and we do not sharpen as its too costly and we replace them, but we do not have stock.Money back please
My review is a bit dated, they drilled my well 5 years ago. The well went ok, but they overbilled at every chance. I was billed for an hourly rate for a supervisor that was only there for 5 minutes twice during the day, they billed me his rate for the entire day. They also ran short of pipe, so I went to Ace Hardware to purchase another section of drop pipe; which they then billed me for also. Oh, and they charged mileage to drive to my house, including the two trips the supervisor made. 6 months after they placed the well the motor seized up because they placed the pump too close to the bottom. They did reduce the rate on the first drilling when I challenged the billing, but I wouldn't use them again.
I am a former employee of the Tucson AZ Branch#88 Rain For Rentfacility. I worked at this facility first as a temp and later as aemployee for 6 years. Approx. April 2009 to March 2015.This facility has used 4" HDPE pipe and various steel water bridges("Road Crossings") on emergency and non emergency potable temporary drinkingwater bypass projects for The City of Tucson Water Department andsubcontractors of multiple times. The steel water bridges used inthese projects have been previously used on sewer bypass projects andeven petroleum contaminated water projects many times before beingused on these drinking water bypass projects. The steel water bridgesusually have large balls of human hair, waste, condoms and feminine hygienelodged in them from past projects. I personally found this absolutelydisgusting but the management at this branch seemed to feel a goodrinse out was more than adequate for a potable application. The most recent eventhappened on July 31 2014. A contractor hit a water main in a wash onHarrison Rd in Tucson. Rain For Rent installed a emergency potablewater bypass going from a fire hydrant at the corner of 10265 EIrvington Rd and Houghton to another receiving hydrant in a nearbyneighborhood about 150 yards to the North on the corner ofE Honey Mesquite Dr and Placita Pinole in East Tucson AZ.This late night emergency job consisted of 4" diameter HDPE pipethat I partially installed and 3 steel water bridges & miscellaneous hardware.Instead of acquiring Virgin Stock new pipe for this job that most states requireand simply making traffic crossing areas with cold patch asphalt they instead used old pipe and water bridges that were not clean or designated for potable water use. This hardware had beenused on numerous sewer bypass projects before and is what supplied potable waterto a entire neighborhood in East Tucson for well over a month. The real underlining reason the sales/management atRain For Rent try to include water bridges on these jobs is so theycan charge more money. Fusion welding a continuous length of HDPE pipewithout water bridges would take half the time and cost far less forthe contractor/customer. The pipe and water bridges used in thisproject were all contaminated with human waste. I admit the pipe line& water bridges on this job were very briefly rinsed on site andchlorinated (shocked) before the final hookup to recieving fire hydrant watersystem. I still find this totally inadequate and unacceptable and completely disregardsstandards for dealing with potable water pipe and hardware set by State and EPA.I could only imagine the outrage the public would have if they knewtheir drinking water was being supplied through sewage contaminated pipe &hardware. The scrupleless management at this facility has proved they are much moreconcerned about making money than public health & safety by possibly exposingthem to a myriad of diseases. I have filed a complaint with the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality Complaint ID# 11810 on this issue. This facility was also operating a illegal, not to code wash pad without a AZPDES permit . They were pressure washing equipment and discharging an array of contaminates into a ditch for well over 6 years.I successfully filed ADEQ complaint ID#11800 regarding this on 4/9/2015. The reason I am sharing this information to try and prevent this facility from ever doing these carelessacts again. They made me do it.
You should be proud of the people that work for you and their dedication to their jobs. The first young man showed up with the rig to lift out the pipe and was done (doing the work of pulling the pipe and putting it back down by himself) in no time at all. Then when he needed help another young man showed up to help him and between the two of them they rigged up the water system, including water holding tanks, in an efficient manner. Thank you for sending them so that we could all have water on Monday. Thank you for your help in getting water for us in a timely manner.
Great group of guys. Bent over backwards to help me.
worst company ever to deal with. I paid $20000 and I still have no water a year later. after they took my money the cowardly owners wont even talk to me. LIARS!! I will be taking them to court. filed a complaint with the roc... farwest didn't even show up to the inspection. All I can say is they need to change their name to far worst company. the bbb rating of F is accurate.
