Brent Walker was rude! Unprofessional more worried about who was going to pay him, TMC emergency room took an x-ray off my knee then sent me next door to Tuc. Orthopaedic Inst. His first words. So what wrong? the xrays show theres nothing! Who took the x-ray? when He found out he was pissed and yell from in the room for someone to get the protocol on why they sent me over to him. Then turned to me and said This all has to do with who's paying Him. How's he getting his money!!! TMC Hospital or my insurance? I responded This is through Workmans Comp. He rudely said " You could of told me that when I walked in the door, now this just got even more complicated" Since then he had caused more problems because he is so worried about who's paying him that he keeps Billing my Insurance company. Which is making a mess and a lot more work for everyone. Im so tried of the having to make phone calls and being placed on hold forever. Just today I received another statement that he has billed my Ins for $1600.00. He did nothing but sent me down the hall for a knee brace and told me to come back in ten days. I went back but refused to see him!. He's old & grumpy and needs to just stay home. I did end up seeing Dr DeWald and was very happy with him. Plus he is sending everything through work mans with no problems.

My 22 year old daughter is a dance major at University of Arizona. She had an ankle injury and saw a doctor at this practice in March 2017. She was provided a walking boot at the time of the appointment. It was an Ossur Form Fit Walking Boot and it sells for $47.50 at Walmart. She was charged $499 for this boot. Our insurance paid 50% of the cost and left us with the rest. Their billing department has been less an cordial about this issue. They claim she had signed a form for the boot. I have three kids and gone through dozens of boots and ankle braces over the years. Never have I had to sign a form before. That in itself is a red flag for me. They are sending it to me. This incident alone demonstrates that this is a very unethical business and I would be very cautious engaging them.
I was referred to this office by my Primary Dr. I went in last Friday September 23, 2016, before we walked in a patient exiting the office warned us of a very long wait. My appointment was scheduled for 10:30am, I was not taken back till 11:30am, then I waited another 45 minutes in the room for Dr. Today is Tuesday, I started calling at 8:15 this morning as I have to schedule my knee surgery, I was told both women who schedule surgeries were in with patients ? Then called an hr. after, same thing. Again I called at 11:20am, the very rude receptionist told me they had 48 to 72 hrs. to call patients back. The three times I called the receptionists were very rude, I have never dealt with anyone as rude as these girls. My surgeon told me on Friday I needed to schedule the surgery really soon, now how can I if they don't call me back.
My cab dropped me off at a different office and they came and took me by wheelchair to their location staff and nurses great job
Dr Medlan is the best but the office staff and the nurses are the worst. Failed to send orders over to the x-ray place failed to tell us the x-ray had moved. LONG LONG LONG LONG WAITS at the office, Looking for a new Dr with a staff that cares
