BEWARE. I definitely do NOT recommend sending your children there. I filed a police report, but have no evidence to prove, so unable to pursue criminal charges. Don't send your children

This is an unsafe and unsanitary daycare. I had my infant in this KinderCare and it was beyond awful. They hired new staff that did not have basic hygiene skills. Hands were not washed between diaper changes and then feedings. The caregivers that had started do not clean babies that have urine filled diapers. I watched many times and complained to the director that they are simply removing the urine soaked diaper and replacing it with a clean one. My child has a food allergy that wasn't respected or handled well. It took several trips to the urgent care after I would pick him up before I realized that they were saying that they were not feeding him food that he was allergic but actually were. There was another child with Celiacs disease and they would give her the same food as the other babies and then remove it from her plate. When I mentioned cross contact issues, the caregiver said that it was fine - that the bread was on the sandwich for only a minute. That's not how that works. My child would become injured and I would not be notified. I came one day to pick him up and found him prone in a crib in his own blood. He had hurt himself on his head and no one knew how nor did they clean, treat or call me. He was covered in his own blood from the mouth wound and left to sleep in it presumably after he cried himself to sleep. I have talked to the director many times and she was patronizing and bored with the conversation. The issue is safety and sanitation. I reported this to the corporate headquarters for KinderCare and likely nothing happened. The director shows off all of the documentation and written procedures but they are not followed.
Excellent child care here! My three year old loves coming here and can't wait to go to "school" every morning. The ladies here have been doing this a long time and this is honestly more like a pre-school environment. They practice reading, writing, and motor skills on daily basis and there's a small teacher to student ratio! They get 3 home made meals a day and I couldn't be happier with the arrangement we have. The director really works with you with any concerns or problems and the other ladies are just as helpful. There's no binding contract and I feel like my child's needs are being met every step of the way. She loves it and will certainly be attending Little Town Child Care until she reaches school age!
I've had my 3 year old and my 3 month old enrolled here for a month, and so far I LOVE the care that they are getting! The place is super cute inside and very clean. I love the way the classrooms are set up for each age group and the teachers and administration staff have all been very friendly and accommodating to any questions or concerns I may have. The price is also the best I was able to to find and I searched around through many daycare facilities before choosing them. Super happy to have found them!
I've only called to inquire about the facility and the helpful staff was amazing. Very polite and accommodating.
My son has been going to daycare here thru a scholarship. This is the second round for him and he seems to love it. When i drop him off the staff welcomes him with happiness. When i pick him up, he is excited to go but not before saying bye to everyone. I have to applaud the staff, they can be very stern about policy and about the children. They are very good with communicating with any concerns they may have about my son. The director is very knowledgeable in early child development. She let me know of a issue she saw developing and urged me to take my son and sure enough what she had told me the dr confirmed. This place is right down the street, very convenient.
LOVE Bright Star! My kids are very happy hear and have learned to be nice, smart children!-Lindsay Mcvay
My son is quite a handful and was even expelled from one preschool. The care providers are great at managing him and pretty much did all his potty training. My son loves it there! You should hear him when I say he's going to La Casita! It warms my heart and gives me peace of mind.
I have waited to post my thoughts because I wanted to be clear and unemotional. My daughter attended here for a very short time early in 2014. We withdrew her after a series of incidents that have left her face scarred and us, her parents, mad as heck.Over a period of less than four weeks, our daughter was bitten and scratched in a total of five incidents. The attacks were from one child and the staff was unable to keep our daughter safe. The only thing I regret more than enrolling my daughter at this "school" is that I believed their promises of change after each incident. I strongly recommend taking your child elsewhere, for their safety and your clean conscience.
We enrolled our daughter into SICP Jan 2014 and she has loved every moment. After receiving her ear tubes, we noticed immediate changes in our daughter's speech and communication. Her teacher's were absolutely phenomenal and most of all, they cared about her development. They helped her with potty training, nail biting and using words to communicate. What we loved most about SICP is the separation of ages. They have an infant room, 1 year old room, 2 year old room and Preschool. Every teacher has interacted with our daughter and she will miss all of them. Tanima and her staff are amazing and they really know how to make you feel like part of the family. We will be moving in a few weeks but will definitely miss this school. - 2 year old, military parents
