YRC Freight

I was told by merchant at time of sale that for free shipping offer, I would need go to the nearby YRC terminal in Tucson to pick up my 200lb shipment. When I spoke to YRC Tucson on the phone I found them friendly, professional and quite helpful. When I arrived at the office I found them friendly, professional and quite helpful. When I drove into my SUV into their yard, the warehouse man was friendly, professional and quite helpful. He helped me inspect the product, then offloaded it from the pallet and helped me load it into the SUV. Shoot, even when we were inspecting, another warehouse man walked by and gave a friendly "hello" and asked if any help was needed. I would never hesitate to use YRC again.

BEWARE: WHEN THEY TELL YOU THEY DELIVER TO YOUR ZIP CODE, IT MAY NOT BE TRUE. We own a small business and used YRC (Roadway) to order raw materials. When the 3 pallets arrived in Tucson, the Tucson YRC office called and said they don't deliver to "our area". We operate in Sahuarita, 15 miles south and have trucking companies deliver all the time from Tucson with no problem. We paid for the delivery, but they left us with few options. They offered to meet us in the Walmart or Fry's parking lot 8 miles south. We cobbled together several pickup trucks to break down the pallets in the parking lot and shuttle them to the workshop. There was no reimbursement for not delivering, nothing. It's the most unprofessional thing I've ever encountered from a trucking company. There are good trucking companies out there. YRC is not one of them.
