I purchased some muriatic acid and the staff brought it from the back room and carried it directly to my car and placed it in my trunk. when I got home I found the box of muriatic acid on its side and it had leaked onto my trunk mat. The acid ate away at the mat and ruined it. when I took it out of the trunk I noticed the box had a warning that it could cause damage and should be kept upright. if the sales clerk had told me I would have put the box in a heavy duty garbage bag and in another box (both of which I had in my trunk at the time).
Two days later (my next day off) I returned the box and showed the staff my damaged trunk mat. The staff took photos of the mat and the box and told me he would contact the general manager Daniella Ramirez about the situation and have her call me. I left the muriatic acid box at the store. I called the store the next day to follow up and spoke with the store manager Laland Conner, who told me it was "way over my pay grade" and that someone would call me.
A week later I called again and was told that staff would call Daniella again and have her call me.
A few days later I went to the store and got a refund on the muriatic acid and asked about being compensated for the damage. Once again, I was told someone would call me.
Nearly a month passed with no call from Leslie's manager to resolve my concern so I returned to the store. When I spoke with Laland Conner again he told me I "was just trying to get someone to pay for your mistake;" that "Daniella was probably just ignoring you;" and that "nobody's gonna call you about this so forget it." they never called me or wrote to me to discuss my complaint. I no longer shop there and now go out of my way to shop at a store that values my business.

Leslies quoted me a price of $1,200 for a replacement pump motor after they completely took my old motor apart and had it in pieces on the work bench. I had them reassemble it and I went to E-Konomy on 22nd - they got me into a new motor, for $200 which works perfectly and I got some straight, helpful advice to boot. They now have a lifetime customer... as simple as that.

When I needed help from Leslies, they just wanted to up-sell me and let me walk with no help at all. I am done with them.
