This is happening !

Let anyone out there know , If your state is run by the Regestrar contractors office. Its law that any sub-contractor that they hire has to follow the laws that CTI has to follow. CTI does not have employee's that do the actuall work. They sub-contract it out . The people that work for these same sub-contractors has to be a employee's of the contractor. Most of these sub-contractors do not have employee's . Very important reason. CTI dont pay enough to conduct a business the way that the Regestrar laws want you to run your business. So its easyer for sub-contractors to pay that person with a W9 and they will get a 1099 at the end of the year. They let them pay there own taxes. They dont have Workmans Compensation Insurance on them and they are in your house without insurance. They are not paying there unemployment Insurance .
Eighteen year old kid that wants a job. Never toke care of a business and he gets a 1099 at the end of the year. Now he owe's . He does not have the money to pay the IRS or the state. He is now in dept. Bad Credit . What if he is your son?
CTI they are turning a blind eye to fact that there sub-contractors are handing out W9,s to anyone that will fill it out for a job. This is called Harboring a unlicensed contractor. No way to prove it unless you as a homeowner has to ask them if they are a employee,s of the sub-contractor that is in your house. If he is in your home , He should be able to show you that his employee does work for him. Have proper ID and any kind of evidence showing that they even belongs in the united states. I would want to know ! Check stub, Application , If the person that is in your house has proper ID. If they dont , they should not be in your house. CTI will not take sides with the sub-contractor if you insisted that the person should have a ID . THey will agree with you that anyone in your home should have a proper ID Even if they dont care and ask nothing from there contractors to see if they are using employee's . If he gets hurt in your house or outside on your property , CTI will only show you the contract stating they were expecting the sub-contractor to follow there rules and the rules of the Regestrar Contractors. The contract they signed with CTI Leaves them free and clear. There are other companys that do the same thing . CARPET ONE in Tucson is really bad for this. From illegals to unlicesed are in not just in new home contruction they are in homes that are being lived in . I am sub-contractopr that sub-contracted worked from CTI and i had told them this in a meeting and a sub-contractor had threaten me in front of the production manager I was let go few months later for it and i was threaten bodily harm for saying it and nothing was done about it. Except that i dont have a job now and the person that heads up the Arizona offices said they did not know nothing about it.
I was on there job sites and it is happening . Do the math on what they get payed. Only if they hire on more sub-contractors that toke the time to be licensed instead of letting one sub-contractor doing all the work and break the laws and push the little business out of business.
