        Doctor Murphy graduated from M.I.T. with a Bachelor of Science degree in Life Sciences (Phi Beta Kappa). She received her medical degree (M.D.) from Harvard Medical School. After medical school, she attended a one-year residency in internal medicine at a Yale University hospital. Her three-year residency in ophthalmology was performed at the University of California at San Francisco Medical Center, which is one of the world’s foremost eye institutes. Doctor Murphy is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. She is also a member of the Pima County Medical Society and Tucson Society of Women Physicians. In her spare time, she and her husband enjoy sightseeing and hiking in our national parks. Doctor Murphy is fluent in Italian, and also speaks French and Spanish.

        All of the staff is professional and profecient in their skills.

        The whole staff works as a team. I always felt like I was getting good care and there was not a thing that was missed. Dr. Murphy's care for her patients shows. All the staff work well together to get every little detail.

        The experience was exceptional throughout the process.

        Dr. Murphy and her staff provide an outstanding level of eye care. I had a laser procedure to correct an issue from an earlier cataract operation as well as new cataract surgery on my other eye. I am extremely happy with both outcomes and recommend Dr. Murphy highly.

        I was more than pleased. Great Dr and office staff.

        This is the second eye that Dr Murphy did my cataract. She is so kind and compassionate. I am so pleased that I don't need glasses at all anymore. She is a skilled surgeon. I would highly recommend her.
