Initially there was a change in the site where my surgery was to be. This was confusing to me. But in the end, this really didn't matter. Everyone was welcoming and quickly put me at ease. The surgery itself was easy and I didn't have any discomfort afterwards. THe chart on how to use the drops after surgery make that aspect easy too. Right away after surgery, my distance vision was better and the world seemed brighter! I've had some struggle to figure out which glasses to use -- but quickly settled into using readers for reading and not wearing glasses to drive or doing most other things. I'm eager to get my other eye taken care of in a couple of weeks. Dr. Murphy has seen me twice after surgery and all is good.

I was recommended to her a long time ago for an eye issue. She's now seen me through an emergency detached retina and now cataract surgery (she did the cataract surgery). That latter surgery turned out to be trivial and wonderful. I cannot imagine a better eye doctor.

Was born with congential cataracts. Dr.Murphy was the first doctor who ever brought up the idea of cataract surgery. It has been a life changer! I can see so much better. I can read again.
