Review of Gardenia Adult Care Home (Tucson, AZ 85710)8-12-14 I met Bernie Rosario approximately 10 years ago when she and her team cared for my neighbor’s parents 24/7. Bernie was very caring, attentive, and conscientious with them. Bernie opened her own adult care home approximately 3 years ago. I visited there several times with my father who at the time was living in my home with me while I worked full time. I did have a caregiver come in for him while I was at work. I had also visited several other facilities, trying to prepare in the event it would be necessary to move him to a facility. I truly was attracted to Gardenia because it is so clean, and bright because of the many windows and paint colors. The home has an airy, welcoming feeling, especially in the large common room. There are always home cooked meals, and snacks during the day. The time came when I needed to move my dad on 4-15-12. There was no question that he was going to Gardenia to be with Bernie Rosario and Steve Davis, the owners and caregivers at Gardenia. I was afraid that I would feel terrible leaving Dad there, but my reaction was the totally the opposite. It was truly the right decision. He seemed so at ease from the moment we walked in the door. He was welcomed into the home with open arms and was included in activities as much as he could participate in for the two years he lived there. His dementia had become quite severe. There much interaction with the other residents, their family, Bernie and Steve’s family and other caregivers during his time there. He received excellent care, and it was obvious that he was happy. My father was hospitalized on 3-11-14 and passed away on 3-14-14. Bernie and I were right at his side hugging, touching, and talking to him as his spirit left his body. We were both very blessed to have had this opportunity. I highly recommend Gardenia Adult Care Home to anyone who needs to place a loved one in a facility. If you have questions, I would be happy to speak with you. I can be reached at (Home) 520-749-0791, (Cell) 520-419-1835, or firstname.lastname@example.org Sincerely, Sandi Frank

Chris' slogan "Customers Love Us & Competitors Hate Us" says it all. CDS doesn't have any peers because they slaughtered the competition with great moving services, fair prices and outstanding customer service! I got Chris' name from a friend and business owner... Chris had his guys show up on a Saturday (he also showed up to make sure the move was going well!) and moved my oldest son from an apartment to a house across town. Let me just say this... as a former Air Force officer, I relocated all over the world moving every two years over a 25-year career.. I didn't get the "perfect" move until I retired here in Tucson and met Chris. I called him again a few weeks later when I was in a pinch and HE came out this past Sunday and moved my younger son across town. That proved two things to me... there truly is no move to small for CDS, and there is no other moving company in the country, let alone Tucson, that can compare to Chris' unique business model. There is only one thing better than a damage-free moving company that is also flexible, professional, reasonably priced and courteous... and that is a company that has an owner who cares about his customers (which transfers over to his crews)... now if I can only find a Tucson auto repair business like that! Chris’ dedication, fair business practices and proven ability to go the extra mile for his customers is unmatchable. Add to that unwavering loyalty and absolute integrity, and I shouldn’t have to say more, but gladly will; if you need more assurances, email me at email@example.com so I can brag on him and CDS some more.
I have known the Cherry's for several years, and they have alwaysmaintained high standards in their care facility. Robert and Myrna are both highly educated in their field, and it shows in their professionalism. \\ They maintain a relaxed atmosphere in their newest home, and the view of the mountains is incredible. There is a large open floor plan in the main public area that includes a living room, dining room and kitchen. It helps facilitate keeping an eye on their residents, and is aesthetically pleasing. The rooms are large and welllit, and two of the rooms share a connecting bathroom with a largeshower and partially sunken tub. They are on the outskirts of east Tucson, just east of Houghton road Escalante, and they see their share of wildlife. I noticed a genuine interest they took in their residents, who always looked relaxed and content when I would visit. Once when I was visiting, I overheard Mrs Cherry thanking a World War 2 Veteran for his protection of her home country back then, and I saw how much that meant to the gentleman, as he related some of his experiences from that time. They serve up a great menu that caters to their client's preferences, and like I said, the view from the dining table adds to the experience. Overall, it's a very nice place in a greatlocation, and they are great people. Mike S. In Tucson, Az.
Cheap Deliveries are the epitome of customer service. I purchased numerous items from LazyBoy Furniture and live in a remote part of AZ. There were multiple delays by the store in my furniture arriving in the warehouse for delivery. Chris was patient, understanding and empathetic to our situation. We were finally notified our order had arrived for delivery. When the two CD representatives arrived to deliver our furniture, the couch was faulty and they did everything in their power including talking to Lazy Boy and the warehouse to work out an amicable solution. They ended up hauling it back to Tucson at no extra cost to us! They took time to place everything else ordered to our liking at our home and were amazingly respectful, professional and performed above and beyond any expectations. I will use them anytime I need a delivery. I highly recommend this company and appreciate the value they add to industry in a time when most company's are in for the $$$. These folks are here to build a business based on customer satisfaction. Outstanding!
After my mother had fallen down the stairs about a year ago, my brother and I had to look for a rehab facility for her. We probably looked at 6 different ones until we discovered Devon Gables. I was instantly impressed with the amenities of the facility along with the staff. I was so impressed with warm and friendly environment and the ability for the staff to really dedicated their time to the residents needs and wants. The made sure that my mother was well taken care of and offered a variety of therapy's for her to recover as quickly as possible. About 8 months after my mother had completed rehab, she needed to be placed in an assisted living facility, which we turned back to Devon Gables. The offer independent living, assisted living, Alzheimer's facility and a rehab facility. I was glad to know that my mother would be well taken care of again just as she was then she was in the rehab facility at Devon Gables. I would highly recommend this facility when deciding where you're loved ones should live.
If you are considering an assisted living home for your loved one, you cannot go wrong choosing the exceptional home owned by Robert and Myrna Cherry. My Mother celebrated her 100th birthday there, and the care she received up until the day she left this earth was unequalled. The home is operated with the highest professional standards, and the Cherry’s as well as their caregivers deliver affection, warmth and love in great quantities. My sister and I visited frequently, especially during the last four months of our Mother’s life, when we were almost a constant presence. We felt very much a part of the family, and were always welcomed. With only five residents, the care is individualized to a degree simply not possible in a larger facility. Our family will never forget the compassion Robert, Myrna and the caregivers provided during those difficult final days. I cannot recommend this home more enthusiastically. It is a very special place. B.A. Carr
Thank you Robert and Myrna Cherry for the care provided to my elderly friend June from February to September 2014. Cherry’s Assisted Living Home is a spacious, safe and caring facility that gave me and June’s family peace of mind during the time she lived there. Robert, Myrna and their staff provided compassionate care during June’s final months which was by no means an easy task. Her family and I were given regular updates regarding her status and we were always treated with professionalism. I’m pleased to recommend Cherry’s to anyone looking for quality care for their loved ones in Tucson.
My mother-in-law lived here for 2 years after we were no longer capable of taking care of her. She lived in one of the 3 homes on the property. The homes are spacious and immaculate. The staff is kind and attentive. The grounds are resort-like and the Fatato family that runs Crossroads is like living with family. Pricing is competitive with other facilities but Crossroads exceeds expectations. I can't say enough. We were so blessed to have found Crossroads for her to spend the last two years of her life. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again for any of my family members if the need should arise.
We were fortunate enough to find Cherry’s Assisted Living Home for most of my mother’s final year. She enjoyed being there a great deal. (They have a habit of spoiling the residents). These are very trying times for the family, as well as for the individual. When the individual is as happy as Mom was, it takes a lot of the pressure off the family. We will always feel that we were very lucky to find Robert & Myrna and are grateful for their loving care.Al Breaw (Son of Helen Donaldson) 10-20-2014
My father was cared for by Cherry’s Assisted Living Home for over 2 ½ years. At first, in April of 2008, my father was reluctant to be away from our home, but after 1 week he adjusted very well. The staff was very caring and concerned, and they adopted my father like a grandfather. In particular, if I had to leave town on business, I felt quite at ease that he was well cared for. I would highly recommend Cherry’s Assisted Living Home to anyone needing this type of care. Thank you. C.W. Tucson.
