I have been a tenant at my current apartment for 6 years; 4 of those years have been under the management of Laura Grijalva and her team at Grijalva Realty. Frankly, I couldn't be happier. My little duplex is not in the best area of town--it's a mid-town duplex, generally nice and quiet, families who work and just getting by the best they can. In my experience with the Grijalva Team, I have been very well treated over the years. When there were some major issues with the apartment itself, Mrs. Grijalva personally set up an appointment to come and inspect the property and to address my concerns. Most of the problems were simply the age and foundation of the building. However, she set her maintenance crew to work on what could be done and the problems were handled in a timely, proficient and professional manner. The maintenance team was very friendly, very responsive, and quite capable of making sure the repairs were done right. The follow-up since that time has been just as timely and professional. Due to the economic times we live in, there have been times I have not been able to make full rent payments all at once, usually due to a job loss and the need to juggle very limited funds between rent and utility payments. Again, I have found the Grijalva Team to be extremely responsive to my needs, more than willing to work with me and very helpful in helping me meet my obligations not only to them but to the owner of the building. It has been one less stress taken off me knowing they really do care about their tenants and their tenants needs. This is not the most glamorous address in town. But I would wager the Grijalva Team is a better management team than those found at the more glamorous complexes. They get to know their tenants; they help out however and wherever they can; they are friendly and they are professional. I HIGHLY recommend doing business with this team of hard working, LOCAL professionals. They are, in my opinion, the best. KEJ, tenant

This company is the greatest. I have rented from them for the last two years and have never had a problem with them. Any problems with the home we rented we just called up and someone was there to fix it within a couple days. Once we even had a clogged pipe on a major holiday (don't remember if it was Thanksgiving or Christmas) but they had a professional plumber out within a half an hour and everything was fixed so we could enjoy our dinner. We had been looking for a place to buy for approximately nine months and hadn't found anything. We were told that it would take 3-4 months to close on a property once we found something so we really started to look seriously approximately 5 months before the end of our lease. Found a great place we fell in love with and it closed in 30 days. Burns allowed us out of our lease and had our old place rented 2 and a half months prior to the end of our lease. Our pets damaged the carpet and we were very concerned with this, especially since the carpet was older when we moved in. Burns was very fair with the charges that they charged us and had our deposit to us within 2 days of them renting the old house. I would highly recommend this company to anyone. Staff is friendly, fair, and honest. You don't find that too often in today's world. Thank you Burns, Ann and Staff for making my last two years worry free.
As a Realtor with 10 years of experience, I know a good agent when I meet one. I first met Ginny through our mutual participation on the Property Management Committee at the Tucson Association of Realtors, as well as the Small Broker Network. She immediately impressed me with her knowledge of laws and rules regarding real estate and property management. At the time, several large property management companies were being shut down for embezzling large sums of money from their clients. Ginny was one of the first to volunteer ideas and her time to create ways to protect the public from this type of harm. I could see her passion for the industry and for promoting and protecting her clients' best interest. When I needed to refer my clients to a new property manager, Ginny was the first and only person I called. I knew that my clients' properties and finances would be safe under Imagine Realty's care. It is unfortunate that more people take the time to write negative reviews, and rarely take the time to write something positive, because I know how happy my clients have been with Imagine Realty, and the reviews below are not representative of her 300+ happy clients. I would not hesitate to recommend Imagine Realty to all my friends and family for their property management needs.
My wife and I were living in ghost town, ancient Globe just two hours north of Tucson. We'd had about enough after six months and acquired better employment just south in Tucson. When it came time to move I had driven down there several times looking for the right neighborhood and decent unit to rent. I explored much around the college campus and south east area. When I came across an add online for Foothill Properties I was blown away by the presentation and wanted to see if it was for real. Sure enough, upon my arrival I met Sandi from Foothill Properties and she proceeded to show me the most amazing, newly renovated property I've ever seen! She was extremely helpful in procuring our move in, as it had to be soon within the coming days. She worked with us on price and had the keys ready promptly for our move in date. She has been a delight to work with since, has taken care of any concerns and I would highly recommend her, her staff and office to assist you with finding a property to rent or buy in the city of Tucson. Thank you, Sandi, for helping us find an amazing home!
I DO NOT recommend renting a house from Rincon Ventures. If you do, don't plan on getting any of your security deposit back. I'd hate to think what we'd have been charged had we actually damaged anything. We were charged $300 to touch-up the walls near door handles where our "body oils" got them "dirty." When I inquired about this charge, I was told, and I quote: "$300.00 is lower than most invoices we receive." In full disclosure, we were also charged $175 for cleaning (we are clean, young professionals and left it as clean as we would have expected any house to be at move-in) and $140 for carpet cleaning (carpets had been cleaned, but "were not re-fluffed properly"). If you're good tenants who pay on time, are friendly, and leave a house with no damage, human landlords tend to respect that and usually will take care of what Arizona considers "ordinary wear and tear" on move-out. Not Rincon Ventures. They are a business looking to make money any way they can. Period.
I’ve been very satisfied with the way that Monica and her team have been managing my property. I’ve owned a duplex in Tucson as an investment for 2 years. Prior to working with GWM, I had two previous property managers, but I was not satisfied with either of their services. Monica’s the first property manager for my property whom I have felt has understood the importance of managing expenses in order for my investment to be successful. In the time that I have worked with her she has also found a tenant for each unit of the duplex without the unit remaining vacant for more than a month. When one of the units was taking longer to rent than we would have hoped, she suggested two different marketing strategies to attract a renter. And within a week of implanting that strategy, the unit was rented. I feel very comfortable with her management of the unit, and feel that she is not just out to get a commission check but is genuinely interested in making sure that I have a successful investment.
As far as rental agencies go, they don't come better than Merritt! The folks working here are on point. We signed a lease on a (beautiful!) property in Tucson. Our agent walked us through all the paperwork step by step and explained everything very thoroughly. Since we moved in, the people at Merritt have been the most responsive landlords I've ever experienced. In the first week, we sent e-mails requesting a myriad of services. We needed a tree trimmed back, we needed an exterminator to investigate a possible raccoon in the attic, we needed the drains fixed, and we needed a broken lock looked at. All four of these issues were resolved in 48 hours! A different specialist came out to check on each respective issue, all were polite, and all fixed the problem within minutes of arriving. Looking forward to what the future will bring.
Property management has been a term that has scared me for years. When I found out that was being transferred to Dallas, I was overwhelmed with a sense of panic. started asking around for recommendations on how to rent out my house. A friend of mine mentioned that he and his wife had purchased a house in Rita Ranch about six years ago. He also got transferred out of town, but ended up back here last year. They rented their house out through Rathbun Realty and had nothing but good things to say about them. I took his advice. I am now in Dallas and Rathbun has been managing my house for the last six months. They had tenants in just two weeks! The women in maintenance were so helpful with getting the house ready, and everything has run smoothly since. Rathbun has my recommendations to everyone!
I've rented from Rathbun for the last 4 years. Since the day I started looking at their houses, the staff has been nothing short of nice & helpful. The quick response & friendliness is actually the reason I'm writing. Any time I submit a work request Rathbun takes care of it. I've had my kitchen sink leak so bad it was running onto the floor. They sent a maintenance guy out that afternoon. The heat stopped working a few weeks ago & Rathbun sent someone out on a Saturday. I've even put in a work request for the doorbell not working. One of the girls called and said they would get it on the schedule but it would be a few days since there were other things that needed to take priority. They came out later that week. Anyway, they've got my vote. They're honest & nice to work with.
I have lived in an 8 Bedroom house with other girls for the past 2 years and we have had no issues with Casa Bonita. I watched the link to the video below, and ANY house anywhere can have an issue during monsoon season. To make this a personal attack on someone in this nice company is terrible!! Sounds a lot like another spoiled brat who hasn't learned to deal with life's issues yet. We have had some maintenance issues over the years, but nothing that they didn't address right away. We all would recommend this company to anyone looking for UA housing. The maintenance staff is great and the office girls are very helpful. It says a lot about a review when someone hides behind a screen name. I happily give my real name and give this company good reviews.
