Watching and listening to this tipsy MD express his political bias in a public setting on the basis of an internet news report was deplorable behavior resulting in the betrayal of the public trust for neutrality, fairness and respect for those who do not share his same view.
My brother died of Cancer there. Out of all the places he was they are by far the worst!! They don't change their diapers often enough. They are on their phones constantly. A worker brings her sick kids there due to a lack of a sitter. Old people don't need the extra kid germs it can kill them. My brother flooded the bathroom by accident 1 time I am sure it was from the cancer in his brain, they yelled at him horribly. When I stood up for him she said he damn well knew what he was doing, well no he didn't! once they get your money its all over. They yell at the residents, refused an old lady tylenol cause she asked to many times and threatened her wiith none if she didn't shut up. Another elderly lady wanted to nap in her room and they told her no sleep on the chair. They constantly threatened us with removing him and making him homeless in front of him. They banned me for being there too much,sorry my bro was dying I was going to be there. I had not experienced this meaness in any of the places he had been in. My sister found this place and liked it because she was a Christian, I will tell you she acts that way but is far from actually being one! DO NOT PUT YOUR LOVED ONE IN THAT PLACE!
This place is toxic and a joke! I will be taking legal action with the Joint Commission and an attorney to get this place overhauled or shut down. If you care about you or your loved one's health and safety do not go here for treatment! They manipulate clients here to convince them they have more significant mental health issues than their actually diagnoses by legitimate outside providers, in order to make money. They are understaffed, have little desire to build actual rapport and relationships with clients, and are constantly confused about the rules and procedures at every level of the organization! I was there yesterday filling out NEEDLESS paperwork again, as they seem to have no concept of computer data management in 2017?!! After only having dealings with this hospital for a week, I was able to answer questions for prospective clients that the employees did not know the answers to and / or were actually giving out erroneous information. The receptionist did not even have records of new employees, so she was telling a delivery driver the employee did not work there, so I had to tell her as a CLIENT, that the employee did indeed work at this location!! I came out of there seething yesterday, and I don't know what my future options are with this hospital for outpatient services. Almost all my interactions have been negative and unhealthy with this organization, and they have the gall to tell me that it is because of my behavior health issues that there are problems!! I don't have most of these issues anywhere else, and their insidious and abusive business practices are actually undermining so much of my PTSD recovery!!! I have dealt with almost all of the other mental health providers and hospitals here over the past 20 years, and I have never been treated so poorly! TMC should have never sold their stake in this hospital! Again, please stay away, as to not get caught in their hook and taken down their absurd rabbit hole.
Warning ! Warning ! Warning! Get everything in writing.The corporate culture at Brookdale seems to be lie and deceive at every opportunity. Tell people what they want to hear, when questioned about inaccuracies lie and deceive as much as you can but never put anything in writing. Handle all complaints over the phone so there is no paper trail. When people demand documentation, stop all communications. It is not about the money, it is now about protecting others that may become victims. It is about reaching out to others who have gone through similar or worse treatment. I believe that there are many and want to expose them as the predatory thief's they are. If my elderly Mother had my Father in one of their facilities she would have just paid the bills because she could afford to do so. My question is how many like my Mother are out there, those who trust people to be honest and would never imagine that things like what we have gone through could happen to them.I would love to see a Class Action Law Suit brought against Brookdale for their corrupt billing practices. They have more than 1,100 Senior Living Facilities across the country and bring in over a $1,000,000,000 in revenue, yes that's a BILLION. If they cheat just 3 people per month at each of their facilities for let's say $4,000 per month that comes out to over $13,000,000 per month time 12 months equals $158,400,000 per year. Nothing would make me happier than to see an ad on TV asking have you or a loved one been a victim of Brookdale Senior Living Solutions fraudulent billing practices.

Worked for them for a few days 9.5 hours to be exact. This place is beyond filthy, every single person working at this place (Karen ,Sophia, "Dr." Dave) are all very unprofessional, they never showed up on time. They told a patient to come in at 11:00am and then showed up at 12 in the afternoon, i also waited outside with the patient because they told me to be there at 11:30, the patient also had told me that she was calling and calling one of the workers but they were ignoring her calls i witnessed this first hand because she even called them in front of me, so i texted them and they finally replied to obviously let me know they were gonna be late as always. They never told me what i was going to get paid, never told me any hours. After a few days of no calls and me texting them asking when they waned me to come in with no response i assumed they didn't want me working for them which is fine but they could of let me know instead of making me wait around my phone all day. And to top it all off it took them a month to pay me for the 9.5 hours i worked. Went in a few weeks ago and they only gave me a check for 6.5 hours AFTER i texted them multiple times about it, Karen told me she would "text me" when to come in for the last check and never did which didn't surprise me this woman always seemed out of it, maybe sneaking some pills? who knows. I texted her multiple times through out the next few weeks and she never responded, again not surprising to me so i showed up today and she told me she had "got all my texts" so why couldn't she text me back, again who knows... She finally paid me. PLEASE DO NOT COME HERE. whether your a person looking for a job or even a patient.
I have used several home nursing agencies for my parents and my disabled son who requires a ventilator. Never has one gone so out of the way to make sure we had the right nurses come to the home. The nurses were the most experienced I have dealt with in 25 years. The management team is extremely helpful and made sure all of our needs were taken care of.
I've been using this company since 2013 and really never had much problems, until the end of 2016 when the policies changed, now They limit my deliveries to twice a week and only say they are able to deliver 14 tanks to me, when before i had weekly deliveries and was able to get 20 tanks each week, as i work and i need at least 3-4 tanks daily just to work. when i tried to get on something different they said i wasn't qualified for the battery portable concentraitor even tho my doctors sent them and order. The service is awful when you call in and the people seem like they don't care about clients. if you get referred here ask your doctors for a different PROVIDER as this one is worthless!
Poor customer relations, can't get equipment needed even if covered with insurance and Dr's orders. Personnel are not trained.Had to buy a walker from another source because of the poor quality Preferred carries. It cost me $170.00 because my insurance wouldn't cover this vendor.
Staff was very compassionate with my mom on every level!Owner and manager were available whenever I called even with the time difference. I hope there is a home like this if/when I need one. We recommend to EVERYONE!
