They sold me a ring, assuring me it was Sterling Silver. About an hour or less of wearing it, it became brassy looking and turned my finger black. The manager, Isabel was rude, told me to come back the next morning. I did, she hid in the back, refusing to come out. I reported her to her boss who said she is great and they would not do anything for me. This place does bad business
Found exactly what I needed, prices are reasonable and I got everything delivered pretty quick. The staff was also really helpful and friendly.
I was in this establishment on 4/26/2017 Isabel was screaming at her employees. They were bringing a piece of furniture onto the floor. As I looked it over I noticed that there was no price on it I asked and Isabel yelled 300.00 I looked it over as I opened the door there were live rounds of ammunition not just 1-2 there were several I grabbed them in concearn that a child may grab it and get hurt. Isabel was yelling at her staff I waited till she stopped and approached her I told her I was looking over the hutch and foud these and held them out to Isabel. She grabbed them out of my hand scratching me shoved them in her shirt pocket and stated that she would sell them. I then asked Isabel if they were licensed to sell ammunition and firearms she stated they sell everything. I walked over to the boutique and asked the employee for the phone number for the owner I was given an email address as I am obtaining the info isabell came over to me yelling to leave her fucking store as I was making a scene which I was not, I told her as soon as I obtained the info I would leave. She was yelling at me and my son. I called the local police department to inform them of the incident. So I went home and looked into info and found that the owners name is David Kimbrough his email is email@example.com he has no clue as to what is going on in his store in emails between myself and David I was called a liar and my feeling were hurt not the case. This establishment is not family friendly per his own words. His reasoning for no fittingrooms ..people were using them to shoot up herroine and stealing not to mention using them as a restroom. but if you buy something and it don't fit no return no exchange. In an email from Mr Kimbrough there are restrooms for emergencies this is not the case we are to go to McDonald's next door or Walgreens. His statement as far as the ammunition was they move furniture right out to the floor with out checking the merchandise and it hadn't been checked. I have never worked for this establishment I will not frequent this store again I want people to know if you shop here be careful I tried to do the right thing and this is how I was treated as a customer here is the contact info for the store so you can email the owner and his lawyer Kelly Relich 520-869-2209 David Kimbrough firstname.lastname@example.org
I absolutely love the midvale goodwill. The workers are great and the prices seem cheaper then the other goodwills. I love the way they display the clothes, nice and neat.
Great little store with some reasonably priced furniture and accessories. Pleasant staff and very helpful too. I would recommend this little gem to anyone in the need of good used item or furniture.
B S. has it RIGHT! And how similar our stories!..., My wife and I have shopped at Ft. Lowell store on several occasions & found staff to be borderline "rude" & certainly unfriendly! (Except for a couple of guys that work in the back, who know what "good customer svc" is!). We had been shopping for about 2 hours & had quite a few things. We had items being held @ the cashier counter, things in our cart & hand-carried the rest. We chose a spot near the shoes, to go thru our goodies & put them in some sort of order, when out of no-where, this large, blonde-haired, angry man, 30ish, comes racing towards us, directing his attn. to me, but for my wife & I to both leave the store at once before he calls the police, accusing me of "stealing" a ball cap priced at $1.99! (Earlier, I tried on the "alledged theft item" then caught my eye on the shirts, forgetting I had the "alledged item of theft" still on my head!) We had full intentions of paying for it, along with the approx. $100 in other goods, and had not even left the store yet! We were humiliated by this "manager"! People were staring at us like common thieves! Isn't it considered theft if you sneak something OUT OF THE STORE without paying for it??? Not wear it on your head in plain sight while still in the store! That's BAD MANAGEMENT plain and simple, for accusing innocent, faithful shoppers of stealing!
It's a thrift store, people, not Bloomingdales! This is one of my favorite places in the neighborhood. Can always find what I need, or something to be re-purposed for what I need. Prices are reasonable, better than Goodwil, and better toward the ends of the racks. No dressing rooms? Thank the shoplifters for that. If I'm planning on trying on clothes, I wear something very tight so I can slip over, or very loose so I can slip under.
My husband visited this store and was appalled with the disarray of the merchandise. Really? It needs to be displayed on hangers just like all the other stores. It was a HUGE disappointment. Think of changing your store, you need some sort organization.
A frequent visitor to all stores in Tucson, ft Lowell is truly the worst!Extremely rude, highest priced beyond clothing!Sell items OVER regular prices in many instances!Very very poorly managed. Shady activity! Pressured for money in parking lot on several occasions! No thank you! Not worth the visit any longer! OBSERVE AND CHANGE EMPLOYEES!!!
it has a fresh, clean look. That's the only thing about the Ft Lowell store that's nice. I'm a middle aged woman who is married to the Pima County District Attorney. It would not be in my best interest to shoplift. I sell lingerie online. I took several bras off the hanger to inspect them. A worker grabbed the bras out of my hand, called for "assistance" to put them back on the hangers, and when I told her that I typically spend a great deal of money at Goodwill, she sneered and made a horrible comment. My friend said the employees have been rude to her as well. After a week of talking about this incident, it has come to my attention the workers treat everyone as if they are shoplifting! I assure you that Goodwill would not be the place me or anyone I know would ever target for theft! It seems to me anyone desperate enough to take something from a second hand store must really need it, and therefore it should be given to them! I have never been treated so rudely in my entire life. I had to beg my husband not to file a suit. Luckily not all of the Goodwill's in Tucson are a reflection of the Ft Lowell store and the maniacs running it!
