A great place for the experienced and the novice "arts & crafter"! It's got many of the same good products as the competitors, but without the crowded atmosphere. We were sad when the old store closed by our house on the Northwest side of Tucson. Now were very glad to have moved back to the eastside and have this location that's easy to access. Definitely a recommended place to check out. 😊
I don't know why people are griping about this wonderful, cluttered, exciting place. True, the clerks are harassed...especially during Halloween and bridal season. True, they could be a little more polite. But show interest, ask a few friendly questions, and they'll thaw right out. I have picked up some incredible bargains here, including vintage items I've found nowhere else. (The embellishments and specialty fabrics are especially well-priced.) Some stuff is a little more expensive. Use your common sense and do a little homework before you visit, then be prepared to dig around. (Warning: it gets pretty warm in there during the summer -- no visible air conditioning.) But I look forward to visiting this incredible place every time we head for Tucson.
