i read the description lmao. i had to write a review after those lies . do yourself a favor bank elsewhere. Keeping your $ in someone elses mattress, would be better than banking at pima federal credit union. i know i ve made the mistake twice. the first experience with pima federal was years ago, during the rodeo. i took my kids to the bank to get some cash. the teller asked if i would like a 500$ loan saying it would build my credit. I DIDNT ASK FOR THE LOAN SHE SOLICITED the loan ONTO ME. "sure if a loan will build credit." i said. she gave me money we went to the rodeo. next day, i was at school, when SHERIFFS CALL WANTING ME TO TURN MYSELF IN FOR BANK FRAUD: i took a loan i was ineligible for. SOMEONE FROM PIMA CALLED THE COPS TRYING TO HAVE ME ARRESTED RATHER THAN CALL ME TO WORK OUT THEIR OWN MISTAKE! pima never apologized. years later i start a new business and get some inheritance. i open an account for the convenience of the location. They will not give me a savings account so our money gains no interest. they will not tell me why. They always turn off my card, despite my explaining to them, i do a lot of buying to get the inventory for my store and even though purchases are to the same places AND are consistent to my purchase patterns. AND i am NOT ALLOWED TO SPEND OVER 1000 AT A TIME NO MATTER WHAT I SAY OR HOW I PLEAD. they raise the limit IF i call the day of and only for BUSINESS HOURS of THAT day. they want to give me a loan with a 29% interest rate wtf? the customer service is hit or miss you MIGHT get helpful mostly its attitude that i have to deal with. calling them (everyday for some issue) is a nightmare there s an hour hold time i have to stress all that time. they use things like your birthday, email and social for the "security" they adhere so adamantly to.i asked if they realized this info was easy to access the girl got an attitude and threatened to withhold services. Smart? Personal? i dont think so. more like ridiculous and silly.
The people at this bank are very rude and heartless. I have two jobs and decent credit. they won't even give me a $500 dollar loan to help fix my car so I can keep aforementioned jobs. Best belive I won't let this go
I'm over all happy with their staff; friendly, fast and convenient location.
I've been a member for about twenty years fully satisfied with the service and staff. Last week I hit a bump. I found out they have been charging me $5 per month for about a year for not using auto bill pay. I never signed up for it. They never notified me of a problem and other fees may have applied. I am looking into it and have gotten nowhere with management. I left banks for credit unions 40 years ago because they were pulling stunts like this. I may be taking my business elsewhere because of this nonsense.
I have no issues with them yet. Always worked things out for me.
Due to the guy, Shawn, at the front desk of VW on Speedway and Wilmot, I will be changing banks. He is rude, degrading and condescending to customers. I would love to by-pass him but he's on such an ego trip he makes you jump through hoops before you can get them done. Even if you have an appointment with someone else, he will make your life miserable because he thinks he can get away with it. I have yet to understand why Shawn is behind that desk! He is anything but helpful.
