We've been using the "doggie daycamp" for dogsitting for about 14 months now, not real often but when we need to come to Portland and are in need of a "safe and secure" place for Barney, our 18 month yellow Lab, we've been doing this - Last weekend Barney stayed on Saturday from about Noon to 6:30 pm, a day later he's got "kennel cough" - he is not exposed to any other dogs anywhere, ever - Left 2 messages with Petsmart with no response - I guess we're on the lookout for a new dogsitting resource

Our dog, Jesse, had a grooming appointment at PetSmart in Tualatin on Sat, 2/6. We dropped off at 10:30 AM, hadn’t heard anything by 4 PM, so my husband went to pick Jesse up and found he had been forgotten ALL DAY. He was stuck in a cage for nearly 6 hours with no attention from anyone. When Jesse was brought out, he was visibly stressed out/panting heavily. The manager didn’t take this seriously enough. We weren’t looking for a free grooming appt., as was offered. We did want some assurance that this wouldn’t happen again … to any pet. The manager told me that I should feel better by knowing that a manager checks on the pets EACH HOUR to make sure they aren’t overly stressed. If anything, this just lowered my confidence in PetSmart that much more as that means that a manager saw Jesse FIVE times in the nearly six hours he was there, but didn’t notice that he hadn’t been attended to. It’s clear to me that PetSmart in Tualatin has some work to do to ensure that the pets left in their care are treated with a level of attention that pet owners everywhere have a right to expect. Needless to say, they’ve lost our trust and our business.

This store is convenient. The associates are helpful and knowledgable. I love that I can go to the vet, obedience classes, have overnight dog care and purchase my supplies all in one great place!
