        Raymond, I believe, at Firesto...

        Raymond, I believe, at Firestone Complete Auto Car in Troy, NY was extremely helpful and kind.



        I drove 2.5 hours from Massachusetts to Troy, NY and my 2009 Subaru Forester (less than 3 years old) started bucking and making a loud horrible noise in the engine area.

        Raymond had it check out immediately and was very gentle when he gave me the news that it needed a new transmission.



        Instead of trying to keep the business, he suggested I tow it the Subaru dealership in case it's covered under warantee.



        Also, he didn't charge me at all of for checking out the problem. He told me I had enough to deal with.



        I truly wish Subaru of America and the Subaru dealership were as helpful and kind.

        Unfortunately, they were not.



        My vehicle must now be towed to Valatie. I know the great people at Kinderhook Transmission and they will replace the transmission for me.



        If I didn't know someone with a Transmission business in NY, I would definitely hire Firestone Complete Auto Care in Troy, NY to do it.



        I highly recommend Firestone Complete Auto Care!

        Overall
        worste place service sucks

        Hidden fees and felt damage was done by mechanic . Was priced a 1,050 bill when brought to another shop repairs where done for 400. This place is a rip off.
