Consistent, and always great. Despite that, I really donâ€™t know anyone here by name. Iâ€™ve always been terrible with names. I come in, I get my cleaning, I talk to the doctor briefly, I get my toothbrush and my floss and my miniature toothpaste and I go home. Itâ€™s easy, itâ€™s thorough, itâ€™s simple, itâ€™s reliable. This time however, Iâ€™ve got some health concerns and wanted to ask my dentist about it. When I talked to my general care physician, I was really written off and told I should see a specialist, but that was it. But today, everyone at Sugarhill dentistry showed compassion and concern and extreme care. My technician was thorough with her examination and cleaning, the doctor listened to my concerns and offered me advice, and referred me to see a specialist immediately, and the woman at the counter, Jennifer, must have called at least 6 offices demanding that I be seen as soon as possible. Jennifer really went out of her way to make sure I could get an appointment somewhere, she really fought for me, honestly past the point where I would have personally given up. Jennifer really made an impression on me today and I donâ€™t think I will be forgetting her name anytime soon.It felt so good having a group of healthcare professionals actually treat me like a person and a patient and not just a name on a list, because that hasnâ€™t been my typical experience with any healthcare professional. This little dentist office is just a small practice on the backside of a building, but it truly is a special place with people who actually care for their patients. I feel very valued and heard, and because of that I will still continue making the two hour commute to have any dental work done by this team. If you want to go to a dentist where you feel genuinely cared for, and treated as more than just a walking dollar sign, I highly recommend Dentistry of Sugarhill. They have not disappointed me once in over a decade, and Iâ€™m sure they wonâ€™t disappoint you either.
