Paul's Auto Wash

Worst auto wash ever, do not ever waste your money there. Very rude staff and they do not care about customer service.
Very sad!!!!

Save your $8.00. The Deluxe Wash I purchased was no match for the sticky substance that remained on my vehicle after the wash.



Paul's Auto Wash of Troy on Livernois has a mirror on the wall so you can see your clean car as you are about to leave. I looked over and noticed mine was still dirty and even though the towel guy was more than happy to let me drive off with a dirty car, I asked what was up? and if I could go through again. He responded softly, "You can ask them in the back." Instantly I knew I was not getting another wash without a fight. Still though I drove back through and was not offered an apology nor another wash nor any extra effort to get the dirt off. They made me feel like it was my fault and the $8.00 I spent was not enough to get the car clean. Perhaps if I got the Express wash for $3.50 I might understand. But I selected the $8.00 Deluxe wash with all the bells and whistles...and I came out with a substantially dirty car. He was kind enough to let me know about a product O'Reilly's sells--that I should try that. Well, I left without a fight...it made me angry how intrinsic, how well prepared their avoidance of making things right by me was. It's as though they have this interaction with several customers a day. Perhaps they can afford to lose customers. But they are a car wash...they are supposed to clean cars. All the way. At any rate, I stopped by the DIY auto wash a mile away on Rochester Rd. and in less than a minute for $1.25 I had removed this sticky (I think it was tar) substance from my car...and I was happy. So the bottom line is if you have to use Paul's Auto Wash of Troy, I'd recommend the Express Wash for $3.50. The $8.00 Deluxe wash did not live up to it's name...my car was still dirty afterwards. I could have gotten two Express wash's, likely had a clean car, and saved a $1 too.

What a nice new wash. Took my car and loved the job this car wash did. The staff were very friendly. My car came out clean and sparkly. Going back!!!
