Ed’s team did an excellent job installing my new fireplace. He and his team were cheerful and hard working. Later when I had difficulty coordinating the intake of air and the flue opening, he came back around and helped me learn the best way to get a roaring fire. He and his guys even stopped by with lots of nice scraps that make great kindling. Enjoying my fireplace!
Had a problem with my remote control for my Mendota Gas Fireplace. Took the control to Ace Fireplace. Eddy looked it over and couldn't fix the problem. He called Mendota Teck support, and within a few minutes the problem was solved. This the second time IO've felt with Ace, and have been pleased with the results.
This is the management from ace fireplace we regret the bad words from Mrs Kandel the customers always right even when they are wrong.
Here is a picture of the work we did in approximately 14 working days it took Avi three days of changing the design and two days of rain with humidity so drywall compound did not want to set up. The customer took two one week vacations
In between job. We covered the intire room and wood floor properly not to damage anything, and pointed out for them not to have the cleaning person in till after the work would be completed, also pointed out that the area would need to be cleaned once project was completed. Cheryl is a day beer drinker actually starting her alcohol drinking at 11 am so we feel she may have a substance abuse problem. In closing we would like to say that this is definitely the tightest travertine and finish and gas log job we have ever seen we just pray that no one else ever has to go through what these good people put our company through.

My experience with Ace Fireplace was excellent. I called to schedule an estimate on a ventless fireplace and they were able to fit me in that same day. Eddie came over, explained all of my options, and gave me fair pricing. I told him that I was in a rush and he was able to have his crew install my ventless fireplace the next day! Overall, I would recommend Ace to anyone including friends and family. Ace Fireplace was very professional, punctual, Clean, and provided me with excellent service, pricing, and quality of work. Easy 5 stars.
Where do I begin with this guy? I didn’t think there were any more of his kind around anymore.
He not only saved me 50 to 60% over what competitors were charging on my fireplace setup, he diagnosed and corrected (at no extra cost) a chimney blockage problem that others had quoted $15-20,000 to repair. Both brick masons and furnace “experts” said it was necessary to do major repairs. They wanted to rebuild the entire chimney. Ed found and corrected the problem in less than an hour and did not charge anything extra for the work.
It has been many years since I’ve dealt with such an honest and highly competent professional. I recommend him very highly.
I needed a conversion kit for fire place.(from propane to natural gas) This kit proved to be difficult to find a year ago so i gave up. just by chance i stopped into Ace fireplace .I have driven by this store in the past but never stopped before because i don't live in this area and was always in a hurry. They were very helpful and explained they are the new owners of this store. After only one day of researching my needs, they were able to locate the parts i needed and had it shipped with in a weeks time.

We stopped by their store to look at getting a new fireplace insert. Nice little showroom, friendly and apparently knowledgeable staff--so we bought a $2200 unit, and were told we'd be getting it in 7-10 days, sooner if they had a unit in stock. That was almost four weeks ago. First, they said the units were delayed leaving the factory--which could be legit, but, if I had promised somebody something in 7-10 days and it was past that point, I'd call the customer and explain the delay; I don't appreciate having to follow up something I've put an $1100 deposit on already. It finally came in, and the installation was scheduled for 5.30 on Dec19; at 6.15, they called saying they'd have to reschedule for the next couple of days. Apparently, they are at the mercy of someone they've contracted to install these units. To their credit, they got someone here the next day--at which point they discovered the unit THEY specified (based on our measurements, and our advising them that the fireplace contained a metal insert) was TOO LARGE. They did locate a smaller unit locally, but we had to wait until Sunday, Dec23. They also say they're too busy to follow up when equipment comes in late--to which I say, ""Then lower your customers' expectations."" Fortunately, this is a luxury item and not a must-have (like a working furnace), but it's still frustrating. So--bottom line:
1. Not as knowledgeable as we thought--despite all our information, they ordered a unit that was too large.
2. Not sufficiently staffed to let customers know a $2200 item they ordered is running late--nor, apparently, do they feel this is an issue.
3. Forced to rely on external third party for installation, and the unreliability that implies.
If you're looking for fireplace accessories, feel free to shop here, but buy somewhere else.
