I am writing this because of the wonderful experience i had with Hansons Windows. My first impression was with sales rep Matt Czernel. He not only informed me of the windows, but he made me feel as though I was a part of the Hansons family. Matt's understanding and patience made me feel so confident that I was truly buying the best windows for the money that I was spending. My intention at first was to wait until next year to shop for windows, but when Matt mentioned the savings I would be receiving with the IQ glass, my heating bill alone would come down substantially. I knew that the Smart Choice package was the right choice for me. Even after I purchased the windows Matt stuck around for an additional 10 minutes to answer all of my questions and concerns. Matt also gave me his personal cell phone number for me to call for whatever and whenever i needed. That extra touch made me believe that Hansons really cares. The day of installation the crew showed up on time bright eyed and bushy tailed. They took care of business. They represented Hansons in the utmost professionalism i have not seen in a long time. I didn't think there were any more companies left out there that would give me 150 % satisfaction. I will never forget looking at my old windows as i was looking at my new ones being installed think to myself, boy I should have done this at least 10 years ago. The difference is night and day. Just when i thought it couldn't get much better Matt showed up and made sure that I was thoroughly happy. I was beside myself with the personal service I received from Matt. He is friendly and genuine and I will definitely recommend Matt to my friends and family as their personal sales Representative. An example of his great service is the day after my windows were installed, I contacted Matt because I was concerned there were water stains between the panes. After explaining my situation he notified me that he would personally come inspect then he expeditiously came right over to solve the problem. This is when we discovered these stains were easily removable. I can't thank him enough for his commitment to my needs. He assured me if I have any other issues in the future to feel free to contact him. Once again, I would like to thank Hansons Windows for their hard work and commitment and they will be highly recommended to others by me.

Hansons has a strong history of participating with charitable organizations like Rebuilding Together and the American Cancer Society. In addition to new Hansons windows, RTOC will repair broken duct work in the basement and install a new furnace humidifier,” said Dan Cassidy, a Rebuilding Together House Commander. “Those repairs and a new storm door certainly will help,” said Cassidy. The RTOC team will also address several safety issues by replacing the makeshift and missing hand rails on the staircases and changing out several original pull chain light fixtures with new energy efficient fixtures and bulbs. “The basement windows all need work. Replacing them with block glass will look great and increase safety in her home. Blinds and shades will also be added for additional security and beauty,” said Dan. Just had a great experience with Hansons Windows. One suggestion is that if the customer is getting a siding job done on a garage and they already have siding on the house and they want the two to match, let them know that the colors will match but the actual look of the siding may be slightly different. Jim Jewell (Our sales Rep) was very professional and accommodating. He stated several times that Hansons is a company that prides itself on 100% customer satisfaction. He stated, and I quote,"I'm not saying that we're a perfect company that never makes mistakes, but if we do make a mistake we do whatever it takes to make it right", and he definitely made good on that promise. Prior to this job I had some work done by one of Hansons' competitors. It was a horrible experience due to hidden fees and what I believe to be a dishonest sales rep. Mr Jim Jewell was extremely thorough in his explaining of the contract and asked my wife and me several times if we had any questions about anything.Overall i felt that I was dealing with an honest individual who didn't just care about making a quick buck, but who was more focused on establishing an ongoing client relationship. I had a list of three other contractors to call. Hansons was the first call I made. After meeting with Mr. Jim Jewell I saw no need to look any further.My focus was not just to hire a company to do this siding job for me. I was looking for an honest and affordable company that i could begin to establish an ongoing relationship with to take care of all of my home improvement needs. Because of Mr. Jewell's professionalism I was confident that I had found that in Hansons. Overall, this was the best experience I've ever had with a contractor, from start to finish. Scheduling was perfect, workmanship was superb, i was very impressed with the clean up after the job was done, and a Hanson's rep was constantly in touch with me every step of the way. I had a small concern after the work was done and even the way that was handled was impressive. GREAT JOB GUYS! It's so refreshing to know that in the future, I only have to make one phone call to have all of my home improvement needs handled.
Here is my experience with Hansons Windows. Barry came out to my house in Trenton MI, and gave me an estimate on installing a roof on my house and garage. I was really impressed by how professional he was; he answered all of my questions and gave me a little background about your company, which I thought was really nice. Barry gave me a price and I agreed to his price and gave him a check for the full amount right there. It took a while to hear back from him, but a lady called me a few days later to say that the installers would be there Monday morning, and by God they were there before the sun came up and did not leave till 6:15PM. They did a complete tear off and installed everything new, just as Barry said they would.The installers drove all the way down from Marine City and got here at dawn.I was really impressed with those guys. They earned whatever you pay them, that's for sure. I will for sure call Barry when I am ready for some new Windows. The last roof I had installed was in 1998 by Kearns Bros. A couple of years later, I went up in my attic and found a leak around my fireplace chimney. I called them and basically they told me that it was my problem to fix, and I did with the help of a friend that does roofing. Two summers ago, I noticed that at the front of my house, all the shingles were starting to peel at the corners. I called Kearns Bros and they referred me to Certain Teed CO. I called them and they told me to tear off 3 of the worst shingles and send to them for analysis. I did not; I thought that it was a waste of time and money to do that. So I started saving a few bucks and looked around to have another roof installed 13 years after the one installed by Kearns Bros. That led me to Hansons. Thanks to Barry and the crew that installed my roof,it was a real pleasant experience!
We hired Hansons Windows to do our gutters, siding, roofing and trim. Our only complaint is that we were not given a time frame for when the job would be started and completed. We had problems later with finding out when the crews would be coming, and that seems like information that should have been provided upfront. The installation crews were very courteous and professional, and they did a good job. The women in the scheduling office also did a good job for the most part. However, figuring out who I need to talk to with questions/concerns was a little confusing. We got calls from several different people in the scheduling office, and I didn't find out till the job was nearly finished that we had a "project coordinator." It would have been helpful to have a single point-of-contact that we could contact with all questions related to our job, rather than being passed around to multiple people. Once the Hansons crews actually showed up, we were very happy with the work they did, and we're very happy with how our house looks. I actually have 2 suggestions for Hansons:1. Having a single-point-of-contact for everything once the job was scheduled would have been helpful. 2. If the crew can't make it on the day we're expecting them, that's OK, we understand that things like bad weather and delays on other jobs can back things up, but we should ALWAYS get a call letting us know that the job is delayed, why it's delayed, and when we can expect it to be done. That did not happen consistently. We got two other estimates, and we went with Hansons even though it was more expensive, because we were impressed with the sales person's presentation on Hansons' quality, customer service, and long-term guarantees. We would consider Hansons Windows for future jobs.
I'm a first time customer of Hansons Windows,and if I have the need for more work this won't be my last time to call 1-800- Hansons. From the time I made the call to your 800 number,I was made to feel welcome and important,my job was only one large window but that didn't matter to your Sales Rep. Sean Schermer...He explained about the company,your product,your guarantee and the price. He answered all our questions and made sure we understood everything. I was given a time frame and the window was ready for installation right on time. Your Project Manager Nicole Charest contacted me and informed me of the installation date and made sure that was acceptable...She gave me her number and told me to call if there were any questions or problems. On the assigned day here comes the truck and my window...the installer named Jason and his helper (didn't get his name)...introduced himself ,went over everything he was going to do and set out to do just that. From the time he put the first drop-cloth down till he pulled out of my driveway, I can honestly say ,he was courteous and professional in his workmanship. He showed me the windows operation and explained that the chalk was still wet so be careful.... The same afternoon I got a call from Nicole to insure that all was done to my satisfaction... Mr.Elias,you have a professional team , and they all worked together to make this one window job, painless and I felt mine was the only job they had to do that month.They were a delight to meet and a pleasure to have come into my home. You should be proud of these folks...True Pros...and the window looks GREAT... Sean, Nicole, Jason and helper....I thank you all...Job Well Done, Hansons Windows!
I had Gutter Guard at first and I though that they were super expensive and too cumbersome to pay their price. It seemed to over priced for the quality of work they offered. I chose Hansons after I was dissatisfied with GutterGuard. I had had Hansons here previously for insulation and I was familiar with how they worked, and the quality of work that they offered. The price was estimated at significantly lower then what I was estimated at for GutterGuard. I felt that Hansons was more upfront and straight forward and felt it to be the better route to go. I was satisfied because the workers from 1-800-Hansons are all very friendly and care about their customers. The installers did a great job cleaning up and during the work, they checked on each other to ensure the work was being done. If you ever have a problem with anything, it is not hard to get in touch with someone from 1-800-Hansons for a resolution. As far as the windows, the type of window and how they were explained to me, Wallside is just OK but Hansons has a better product. When they came out and showed me what I would be expecting from Wallside and what I would be expecting from Hansons the decision was easy. I did have another contractor put in two other windows previously, and Hansons got to me for these other four windows. Hansons compared their windows to the competitors', and showed me how theirs were superior. The financing was the selling point, and they had a great price. I had four windows for almost the price of the two windows I purchased from their competitor.
This is to let you know what a great job Hansons Windows' "Team" did in getting our windows installed. We ordered 3 replacement windows on 8-23-11 and needed them installed by 9-16 as we are having a party on 9-17 and wanted to showcase our new 3 lite slider window in our living room. We only wish that an ocean view also came with this beautiful window! After the measurements were made, on 8-29 we contacted Director of Operations Paula Lybeck who assured us that she would do everything possible to meet our desired installation date. On Monday, 8-30, processor Linda Eagley called to assure us that everyone was still working on getting our windows in quickly. On Wednesday, 8-31, Supervisor of Processing Jackie Gilmer called to give us an update of what was happening. On Tuesday, 9-6 we contacted Paula Lybeck and she said it was possible that our windows would arrive at Hansons on 9-12. On Friday, 9-9, Paula called to give us the good news that our windows had arrived! We then set up the installation date of Wednesday, 9-14. On Wednesday, 9-14, Joe Gladki arrived with our windows and installed them himself. He was very professional and he did a wonderful job installing the windows and cleaning up afterwards. Everyone that we talked to was very professional, kind and really seemed to care, which is very refreshing. 1-800 Hansons can be very proud of everyone involved as we are very satisfied and will refer Hansons to family members and friends.
We had the fortunate experience of having Hansons add siding, gutters and doors to our home recently and we are very satisfied with the work that was done. Our meeting with the sales representative went smoothly as he was very knowledgeable about the product you have and helpful in making decisions on type of siding and colors. He was pleasant and called a number of times to be sure we were satisfied with our purchase. The siding crew from Hansons was the first to come and they worked well together. They were courteous and seemed to enjoy working together. Each evening, the crew made sure the areas they worked on were cleaned up. They did a great job. We received phone calls daily to make us aware of who was coming to do what type of work and to see if we had any questions. The girl who called us was cheerful and very pleasant to talk with. The crews who installed our entry doors into the garage and the gutters and gutter guards did an excellent job. Our neighbors and friends have commented on the difference in the house that the replacement windows and siding and gutters from Hansons have made, stating that it looks richer and so much nicer than previously. We are extremely happy with the results and will certainly recommend Hansons to those interested in making a change to their home!
I would like to compliment Hansons Windows Service Manager Ms. Melanie Ferguson. She was always polite, courteous and very helpful in getting our replacement windows scheduled and installed without issue. She kept in constant communications and even followed up with a call after the install was completed. Secondly, I would also like to highly compliment the installation crew, lead by Mr. Chris Seggie. Chris gave us a courtesy call prior to arriving as scheduled and he and his crew were very polite and professional. Chris reviewed with us each step of the process, answered our questions and gave us a window operations tutorial. Him and his crew worked cleanly and when they finished the installation, quickly ensured all areas were clean, both the inside and outside of our home. They are true professionals. Most of all, thanks to Mr. Brian Elias, president of Hansons Windows. Thank you for standing behind your product and doing what you say you’ll do … as you’ve done for us.
