Wow! The rude treatment by the Alibi manager was unacceptable and unbelievable! My husband and I have always loved the food at the Alibi, especially the pizza and salads, and we have frequented this establishment many times. The Alibi’s normal Sunday opening time is 1:00 P.M. We walked into the restaurant at 2:50. We were distracted and unaware that their hours were changed that day because of Memorial weekend. Yes, there was a sign posted out front that we did not see. The hostess greeted us in a friendly manner and said that they were not really opened for ten more minutes, but said she could seat us, and we could wait. Two minutes later, the hostile manager came to our table and harshly scolded us saying “I don’t know how you got in here, but we are not open, and you cannot stay here.” As we calmly explained to him that we walked in and the hostess seated us, she came running up and told him that she did indeed seat us. Without saying another word to us, he took her aside, and we watched as he proceeded to scold her. Several of the wait staff came out and stared at us, and we were feeling very uncomfortable. After debating with my husband about leaving, after such rude treatment, the friendly waitress (Lori) suddenly appeared to take our order. We stayed and ate (Shame on us!), but felt uncomfortable, berated, and regretful the entire time. After leaving, we made a pact that we will NEVER allow a restaurant to treat us this rudely and disrespectfully again. We should have left! Bye bye Alibi!!!Tina and Dan Weathers
This restaurant is mediocre. I only come here for the beautiful waitresses. When i say beautiful, i mean BEAUTIFUL. My waitress went by the name of Nadine. This girl was gorgeous. When i say gorgeous, i mean sexy. I've always wondered why they are called jay jays rather than "Nadine's". There was another one that went by the name of Marriana. This girl was a dime as well. These girls give a great customer experience. They make me want to stop in every day! I mean, the food is good and all such as the tortilla soup as Tom Qosaj would suggest. There is a guy named Brandon that works there as well. This guy always takes pictures of these females and i find it very inappropriate. Overall, the customer service is descent, the customer experience is great, and the food is descent. I recommend all men of all ages to come eat at this restaurant. As for everyone else, good luck. The food takes about 40 minutes to come out.
EXCELLENT IN EVERY WAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Owner and staff are extremely polite. Fast Service and GREAT FOOD
Nice looking place BUT the SERVICE is incredibly RUDE. Actually "rude" is an understatement. The food was overpriced and nothing special. NEVER would recommend and will NEVER return
Interesting evolution on how we arrived here.Tried the Chammps on Hall Road a couple of years ago, but walked in just as the kitchen took an order for a 110 people funeral wake, so we took a rain check.Fast Forward to last Friday , pulled into Hall Road location CLOSED PERMANENTLY .Well after joining there MVP rewards & wanting a free burger, here we are in TroyWalked in at 5:45 on 2-28-14 & the place was actually jumping, one of the 3 hostesses sat us promptly. Our server Selena, arrived & I'm sure you all know when a server is going to be fantastic, well her vibe matched the service , great gal[ she has served here for 15 years ]We showed our rewards coupon out of the chute & told her we were splitting it to save room for the Mile High Ice Cream PieAnd she totally understood thatWe asked what is the go to burger here? She HIGHLY recommended theChipotle BBQ Burgerpulled pork. cheddar. apple wood-smoked bacon. house-made chipotle mayo.lettuce. tomato. When the helper brought it out , Selena had the kitchen split the burger & fries in the back , into 2 plates & 2 fry baskets!SWEET!**If I were to deduct any points at all on this visit, it was the waffle fries cooled off or were cold way to quickly in that open mesh basketHolly S from YELP was right the mile-high ice cream dessert was flamboyant + she enlightened me about the MVP program.I'll enclose a picture of this dessertOur dinner & dessert was $11.65Plus the receipt offered a survey for a free dessert on the next visit.
Best Pizza in Town. I regularly stop here for carry out Pizza and forget how good their other food is too. Service is always fast and kind.
The stuff listed on the menu isn't even available at the restaurant. And the stuff that is on the menu doesn't even get made right had to send it back for correction 3 times and the waitstaff looks at you clueless!
The old Big Boys. I can say they have very good Chicken Shwarma. Have not tried anything else. Nice sized portion, and was my favorite of the area now. The soup is good and my drink was never empty. It is very clean and the remodel job looks good.
The waiter was very very rude to my friend and I had to leave by 11 and I asked for a check and did not get it until 11:30 when he saw me getting up in anger!
Best food in Troy and Rochester area! Creative sandwiches! Great kids meals, kids loved it! My chicken pasta dish was better than anything ever had anywhere, blows away the expensive restaurants like Andiamo! Very low prices!! We will be back!
