High Country Horse Club

I was a camper and high country horse camp this past week. It is owned by a new person and is a great camp. Easy to get in and stalls and pickets are good. It's further from the best riding but Doug (the new manager) will trailer you to the best riding. I would recommend riding there again. :)

I was an invited guest at High Country Horse Camp and I was staying in the Konarrock area for over a week. The dates the 18th-26th. I met the people of the Outpost which has a different name. Nice Lady runs the show there. I also came accross a young couple who operates a few businesses in the area. They were cutting grass behind the dinner. Nicest, professinal people I met.

Everyday, I would go to the Outpost and eat, and hope to see the young couple, the woman often brought food in to help keep it going, seemed like her and everyone who came there were friends. She must be very well known.

On the 22nd, the couple came in wearing black, I heard one of their kin passed on. Right behind them Tom Davis came in and totally destroyed the pleasant mood of the dinner by yelling, cussing slamming things and it wasn't just at the Lady running things but at this popular couple. Something about selling it and he did not care if anyone had a home, job or anything. It was his and he didn't care.

I will never return to that horse camp or even that area as long as this ungreatful jerk is in charge. I think if you guys want to make your business grow you should hire that young couple to take over and make something out of it and lose Mr. Thomas Davis. I heard about 12 lies out of his mouth and slander... I will gladdly go to court and testify on any of these people's behalf. He's got to go!
