ROUTE 33 NISSAN = TERRIBLE SERVICEI have a leased 2017 platinum nissan maxima from Mt. Holly nissan with a wheel and tire protection plan that I pay an additional fee for every month. This specific plan covers anything from curb rashes to flat tires and gaurentees that if it can’t be fixed... it is to be replaced. Well I brought my car to route 33 nissan to get this flat tire repaired and they are telling me they cant find my plan and it isnt working out. After a call with mt holly nissan they told me to just pay route 33 nissan and they would find a way to reimburse me for it. I was told i would have had to pay $50+ to have them plug a tire which is ridiculously over priced. After an argument with the service manager i decided to leave without getting it fixed. Route 33 nissan allowed me to leave their shop as an unhappy customer on a flat tire. This isn’t my only bad experience with route 33 nissan. I went there about 4 months ago to get my oil changed and they returned my car to me with mud all over the passenger side and my front bumper LITERALLY HANGING off my car by a clip. They denied responsibility and refused to look at the camera to see if i brought it in that way... (which i clearly didn’t). If you are wondering why they have 4 stars on google, it’s because the service department offers you $10 gas gift cards to go on google and write fake 5 star reviews... so odds are if you see anyone writing a 5 star review for this dealership they were probably bribed into it.If you are reading this before deciding which dealership to go to for service or the purchase of a vehicle. I highly recommend driving the extra 20 minutes for Mt. Holly Nissan. They treat you like family there and they don’t nickel and dime you.
So let me start off by saying dealing with this dealership has been the ABSOLUTE WORST experience I have ever had. Let me explain in detail...I bought a used 2011 Hyundai Santa Fe AS-IS for 12,416.00 the car isn't even worth that in excellent condition. They never told me anything was wrong with the car and the check engine light was off. The check engine light came on within 24 hours. They must have cleared the codes to sell the vehicle. I went to start it up the morning after I bought it and the engine was rattling. I brought it back to the dealership and they looked at it. They told me there was engine problems. So they asked me if I wanted another car and I said sure lets look at them. They then came back and said they would give me a warranty and that I would have to pay a 100.00 deductible that they would cover. They told me to wait about a month for the warranty to kick in and bring it to be serviced. I waited a month and called to setup the time to have it serviced and they told me to bring it to the Hyundai dealership. I brought it to the Hyundai Dealership last Wednesday and after doing a diagnostic they determined that it was the Drive Chain Tensioners. The warranty will only cover the repair it won't cover the breakdown of the engine which means they have to completely take apart my engine then wait for the warranty inspector to come out and determine whether they cover the repair. They now want 750.00 in labor to take apart the engine plus 100.00 for the deductible. I called Haldeman Ford because I feel they are responsible for the 750.00 plus the 100.00 deductible because they told me that it would only be 100.00 deductible that they would cover. So they sold me a car that was overpriced for excellent condition and now I am without a car that I am stuck paying for. They barely return my calls and the last call I was told I would receive a call back and have never heard back.
great service department ive been coming for the past few years! I loved it so much that i bought a car from them!
Tom was extremely helpful! I bought using TrueCar for the first time and he was helpful in explaining all the details.
Just bought my first car from them and i felt they went out of their way to get me into a deal. Sales and financing staff bent over backwards. All cars in excellent condition. I was put in a vast that i love. Go there first!
