we will never got there to stay like we use to they lied to us on their sign they said the had ocean veiw room but when we asked for those rooms they said they didnt have any so that mean they were lying saying they had rooms now they are on our never stay there even if they gave us 7,000,0000,000.00
I have stayed the Bilmar Beach Resort on numerous occasions and higly recommend the hotel to anyone traveling to the St. Petersburg/Tampa Bay area. Although the exterior of the hotel is quite retro the rooms have been updated in a very contempory style. Most of the rooms face the Gulf of Mexico with easy access to the beach. The staff is welcoming and helpful.

This hotel is outstanding- they have completely remodeled everything & the servce is amazing too. The flat screen TV's are cool, the granite countertops, the comfortable beds are all great, but the beach is so wide open and beatiful too. We love it so much & want to tell eveyone to go visit. It well worth it- no wonder they call it Treasure Island. While we were the we found out they are converting it ti a condo-hotel which is even better! We can actullay BUY a unit, let them rent it out, & they will send us a check!! WOW!

SO MANY OF THE HIGH DOLLAR INCLUSIVE RESORTS LOST ALL OF THE TRUE FLORIDA VACATION EXPERIENCES. THE BILMAR HAD GREAT VIEWS FROM THE ROOMS AND OFFERED ENTERTAINMENT AND RESTAURANT. THE VALUE WAS EXCEPTIONAL. GREAT LOCATION ..WALKING DISTANCE TO ANYTHING YOU COULD REALLY NEED FOR THE OLD FASHIONED BEACH VACATION
