Awesome meals each and every time we come to Traverse City. The service has always been outstanding.
Definitely a must see and eat when in TC. Pork Tacos, pizzas, cider, etc.Local food and wines, farm to table.
This business has done a great job over the years and has evolved from Glen Arbor to many locations. The quality and selection of items is World Class. Always a fun place to visit for great Michigan products.
Love it. Nice hometown feel!! Food and drinks are always good. Don't forget to kiss the Moose.
I have lived in Traverse City all my life and it wasnt until about four years ago that I had actually heard of Randys Diner. Heck I used to drive passed it every day and still had no idea. I absolutely love american comfort food, especially when it comes down to omelettes hashbrowns and wheat toast. Now I have to say that the very first day I visisted I immediately became a regular. The service is absolutely exceptional--better than some of the "fancier" places you might go in TC. All of the waitresses are extremely nice and always helpfull. The food is exactly what you would want in a mom and pops diner: home-style cooked everything. Now I eat at Randys five or six times a week and all the waitresses know my name. Sometimes Randy himself will even sit down and eat with me. Great people, great ownership, great atmosphere and great food! I can reccomend Randys all day long.
Jamie got into an argument with her manager and walked out and left me sitting in the chair in the middle of a color. As I sat there listening to Jamie yell and smack the table in the back room, was a needless to say awkward. The way she talked to the manager and then walked out in front of everyone was uncalled for. The manager tried to diffuse the situation, and finished my color, but had to turn away appointments and walk ins. To know that this loose cannon is still working there is disappointing and unfair to the manager. I'm not sure if I will be back, but if I am, it will always be scheduled with Missy, the manager.
The food quality is poor. Definitely not local sourcing, unless GFS is local.? Service was immiture AT BEST and I believe this place has been around for a while. Highly dissapointing when there are so many really great places to eat in Traverse City. I will never step foot in their doors again.
Super relaxing atmosphere with talented stylists paying attention to every detail. Color. Highlights, corrective color, weddings- you name it!
