It may be the best "steak" house in Townsend, but even being the ONLY steak house in Townsend IF you do decide to go there despite my review, don't get the steak. I ordered the ribeye being a steak lover. Despite the $16 price tag it was horrible. It was thin, full of gristle, tough, and overcooked despite me ordering it rare. The trout that my wife ordered was pretty good but overpriced. The "caesar" salad we ordered was not even kin to a caesar salad. There were NUMEROUS flies flying around us and the food that was elegantly placed on a cloth tablecloth. If you do go I hope your experience is better than ours.

I had the sirloin and it was great blackened with blue cheese crumbles. Sides were well portioned and the price was reasonable. The wife had the trout and my kids had the kids menu chicken fingers that seemed more of an adult portion. I will probably visit at least once every time I visit Townsend.
