It's hard to imagine that someone raised in Southeast Georgia does not to know how to cook shrimp and crab. You can't re boil crab or shrimp that's been frozen or it sets them in the shell. Although we did manage to get the meat out they both tasted like they had been left in a dirty freezer for years.Who's ever heard of a seafood dinner that didn't include a baked potato or salad or something. My dinner included only crab legs.Fortunately, we had family down so we enjoyed their company although the roof leaked so bad that they placed metal buckets around to catch the drips.For all of this adventure my husband paid:$110.00.
We went their to eat and the crab legs were really salty it's all you can eat but you can only have one crab leg at a time. You serve prime rib with no A1 or heinz 57 steak sauce. Then I talked to the owner and he said I'm 86 I'm retiring so he acts like he just don't care. So if he doesn't care please don't give them your business. 4 very unhappy customers.
We live in Shellman's Bluff and eat here regularly. It is really hit or miss. If they aren't super busy, the food quality is great. If they are super busy, the quality goes down fast. Seafood barely cooked, french frys that are prepared well in advance, baked potato cooked so long that they are brown inside. It is a come as you are place. We chance it a couple times a month, when they are on- it's a great place to eat. 2.9 out of 5. They are super nice.
