Smith Brothers Appliance Repair

I called this company and setup a service call on my stove. The technician named Felix showed up and spend about 15 minutes diagnosing the problem and collected his $65 for the service call and promised to email me a written estimate the following day before 12pm. About 5 or 6 days later I received a detailed estimate for $659. By this time I already had it repaired by the factory recommended service company at a much lower cost and it works great. Smith bros tech Felix was wrong with his diagnosis and would of replaced the wrong part. I would recommend staying away from this company because they seem more interested in collecting the $65 service fee.

I tried them twice - once on a Subzero freezer and once on my Dacor oven. They worked for less than an hour the first time and installed a relay board that sold new on eBay for less than $200 and charged me $650. The second time they quoted me max $350 to replace the relay board on my oven and when he arrived he quoted me $625. I would say if you wish to experience some major gouging and just don't care about the money these guys will fix your appliances but I believe their is a better way to spend your money. And the repairman was surly and unfriendly - why support someone like that?

Great experience with Max. Had an opening and called to see if he could come over earlier which worked out great for me. Good sound advice and quick repair. I will definitely call him again.

Quite simply: he came when he said he would; immediately identified the problem; had the part to fix it; fixed it and now IT WORKS.

It took less than 30 minutes. Getting anything repaired or installed is rarely this painless.

tek came to fix Samsung drier. he charged 45$ and said bad ckt board. I called auth smsng dealer because board has 2yr warranty. They came out and replaced filter T-stat and chargers me 120. Smith Repair said tek error. I said he doesn't know anything and tried to rip me off. They refunded my 45$ a week later. my advice. Call auth. Dealer.

Just call them, you won't regret it. 5 star service at a fa price. Thank you!
