The food is good but the service is horrible to say the least. Don't expect to be given 5-star customer service. I have been ordering lunch take-out from them for the last 3 years or more since i work at the hospital and even though they have always been rude, I think they outdid themselves this time. I asked the older lady if i can have 2 plates and she told me in broken English," I order it to take home and I need to eat it at home." i said well then I guess I won't be coming here anymore. She then took my bag and shoved a thin Styrofoam plate in my bag. Then she started yelling and saying don't ask for anything else. I don't think I was asking for much, but the fact that she was so rude about the whole thing made it more upsetting. This person should not be greeting, taking orders or on the phone if she can not be more polite to her guests. So I will not be coming back and giving my money to them since there are other deserving restaurants that will treat thei customers with some type of respect and loyalty.

This place always has the best Chinese food for the money. Lightning fast service! Always crowded and extremely busy, so don't expect the staff to have perfect manners 100% of the time. However, you can tell that they make a huge effort to be kind and satisfy all customers.

Me and my parents went to eat here for lunch yesterday (Easter Sunday). The food was good as we've been coming here for a few years now. When we had to pay the bill the waiter told us to go to the counter, which we did. The lady there didn't even look up as she was taking orders by phone one after another, not even a ""I'll be with you in a few moments."" We stood there for about 10 minutes until finally she rang up the credit card and we paid. We might consider not eating there. They could use a few pointers in customer service.

Visited on a Saturday early evening, around 5:30. The place was beginning to fill up at that time, and there were plenty of Chinese people at tables. The place was packed by 6:30, so before you go, be sure to go early. The menu here is daunting - there are easily 75 choices, plus seasonal specials. The food is quite reasonable, and they give you enough for 2 nights worth. The family dinners are an absolute steal, starting at 10.95, you get soup, appetizers, your entree, fried rice, tea, and dessert. I personally had the small lobster (11.95 for dinner), which had been stir fried in an amazing sauce. I won't lie, it did get messy at times, but it was so good I didn't care. The service was wonderful and quick despite the full dining room and massive take out service they do. You must give this place a try.

I prefer this Seafood Port over others because it excels in almost everything I look for in Chinese food: good tasting dishes, enough to get full, and relatively cheap prices. For example, shrimp dishes seem to be $3 less than other places. Whenever I go with friends, we always at least get the walnut shrimp and ""french steak,"" so I recommend those. And I'd say if it's a special night, get the house special lobster. Simply amazing.

There may be a thousands of chinese restaurants in So Cal and I wish I could try them all, but of the dozens I have tried, this is bext Chinese food I've found since Happy Valley restaurrant closed in chinatown...
Have not been disspointed with one single thing I've ordered to this point! [4-5 visits] Can't wait to get to the rest of the menu!
