Humberto Haro is an excellent service writer. He is a detailed person and is very involved with his customers. He coordinated well with my technician and completed the work on-time. He also personally installed my front windshield wiper blades. Humberto Haro is a 5 Star Scott Robinson employee!

I called to ask if I needed and appointment and my salesman Ashley Brown immediately took me in. I gave him a couple of ideas I had in mind for what I wanted and he immediately narrowed my choices down to what was best for me. Keep in mind I’ve had 3 experiences at car dealerships all getting new cars and Ashley has been the best experience this far. As I mentioned he narrowed my choices down perfectly which saved up a lot of time and made me check out all the different options I had. Gave me a full run down on each car and was even patient enough to answer some of my moms questions (who was interested in trading in her car in the near future as well). As we walked down to check out more options we both noticed the car I ended up taking. He realized this was going to be the best option and I realized how beautiful the car was. It’s like we both knew lol. Ashley was straight to the point and very transparent with everything. Gave me all my scenarios and was patient enough to even re-explain some stuff I was confused about and he was completely cool about it. Once I agreed to getting the car we hopped inside and he gave me a full run down on my car and took his time!! This was big for me. He never at any point looked impatient and really took his time explaining things as well as well as gave me all the time I needed to think things over. I never felt pressured or rushed, but he also does know how to get a deal done. Overall I had an amazing experience at this dealership and it was solely because of Ashley. If you’re looking to get a car and want a great experience full of information and excitement then Ashley is your guy. He gets excited WITH you haha. Like I said I’ve had 3 cars with 3 different dealerships and this was my best experience!! Very informative, exciting, and the fastest process I’ve had of the three. Definitely recommending friends and family to come here!

The worst place to buy a car and then the service department is the worst place on earth. I plan to take them to court. They have my car 2 weeks could let solve problems until much later. Then I had to get a repair done only the dealer could, they had my car 5 days and said nothing was wrong with my car. Made me pay 140$ for diagnostic, take my car home and it doesn't start. Ridiculous.

I stopped in just to take a look and I bumped into Yusef . This is the part that is truly funny,I am now at home with my new Dart in the driveway. OMG! It was truly just an offer I could not resist because it was such a low payment for so much car. Yusef thank you so much again for your patience with me. We purchased a Challenger SRT8 from this dealership 2 years ago. I had it refinanced in May 2014. I contacted the dealership on getting a refund for the gap insurance; which I have done and received with every car I have ever owned. Valerie Gower (Finance Manager, phone:(310) 542-0900 Ext. 7716) told me it would be a two month process to get the refund. Every 2-3 weeks I would email or call her. She would either ignore the communication or say it was still in process. . Once I called her twice on my cell phone but the phone was not answered. I borrowed a friend's phone and she picked up. This woman is lying and unprofessional and rude for absolutely no reason.

One email Valerie Gower sent me included the phrase “complete for immediate processing.” I think “immediate” means within a week, two at the most in terms of business days. Last month Valerie told me that she does not have anything to do with the gap insurance refunding. It is done by another woman, who doesn't speak to customers so I am not allowed to contact that other person. I have not done anything to warrant this treatment! What I am asking for is legal. I gave Valerie Gower every document she asked for. It is now October. A 2 month process has become 5 months long with absolutely no explanation. I have never had a gap insurance refund take more than 3 weeks. I am starting to think that when she receives the gap insurance refunds for customers that she is pocketing all the money. There is no other reason why she would be avoiding me. This is my first time speaking out and stating my displeasure in my treatment. It is unacceptable and I completely undeserving of this "customer service".

Very bad experience

I would not recommend this Dealer to anyone. I bought a used Toyota Corolla 2009 model from them which they had claimed was inspected thoroughly by their mechanics and that the car is in very good condition. That was a big lie, because the car had some problem with the Engine Timing Gear which they were aware of and did not disclose to me. This can be identified only when you start the engine when the engine is cold. I was under d impression that they are genuine dealers but They literally ditched me. I communicated d issue 2 them & even dropped my car twice @ der service station 4 d repair but they did not do anything and finaly said that they cannot do anything as this was not there when dey sold the car 2 me..! I finally decided to contact Torrance Toyota - PCH service center and they diagnozied the vehicle 2 let me know that the vechicle does not have proper Engine Oil too..!!! And to change the timing gear it will cost me around $700..!
My experience with South Bay Chrysler is Very Bad and heard the same incident 4rm couple of my friedns too. Please dont buy any used car 4rm these cheaters..

Took my new Jeep Liberty for oil change and tire rotation. Had a coupon so the cost wasn't too bad. Noticed my car was leaking oil and took it back. Service tech comes in waiting room and tells me in front of other customers that whoever changed the oil last did not tighten oil filter and that was what was leaking. He quickly left when I informed him that they were the last ones to change my oil! 5,000 miles later I again go in for oil change and tire rotation. No coupon so I was shocked at how much I had to pay! Two weeks later my brakes are making a horrible squeaking noise and when I turn steering wheel, this is making a strange noise as well. Again I take car in. I am informed after waiting 6 hours that there is a nail in my front brake pad. Furthermore, my water pump is leaking which is causing steering noise. Don't think service dept. did anything wrong since all this work was under warranty and I paid only for brake inspection. However, something just doesn't feel right. How a nail got into my brake pad is strange to say the least. Furthermore, why didn't service tech(s) notice the water pump was leaking when I had oil changed, twice! I have to admit, I make appointments and I am pretty much taken care of quickly. I like Bob the Service Manager. Not so sure if I like my Jeep!

Poor customer service

I've got a Jeep which has a recall notice on it. You get the notice in the mail, you call the local dealer for a service appointment, and they should take care of the service.

With these guys, you call the service dept, tell them the purpose of your call ? they respond by telling you they'll call you back to set up the appointment. Then, they never call back. It's not a mistake ? it's intentional. They've done this to me several times now.

Doesn't surprise me. I've had very poor service from all the Jeep dealers. The car itself is junk. Sadly, this will be my last American car.
