I had a very disappointing experience today at the Santa Monica Lexus Portfolio Manager Joon Kang. I was called by Lexus and asked to schedule a meeting for today 7/31/2017 to discuss my lease options as I have already reached my leased milage. I took time off early to make this meeting and met with Mr. Kang who I felt was very pushy as I felt very pressured by him telling me this is the last day of the month and whatever deal he will discuss with me has to be done today or the deal won't stand. I was presented with a brief couple of options and asked him if he can model the new lease options he's suggesting but he says if I'm not ready to drive back with a new car it's not worth discussing as the deal won't stand as Lexus changes the deals every month. I felt he was also rude in asking me personal questions if I have my car with me and I responded that I didn't as my daughter dropped me off and he asks is my daughter driving my car? What all this has to do with discussing my lease options? I never felt so disrespected as I felt today when he was looking at me as what am I doing there if I'm not ready to make a decision? Really Lexus??? You call your customers to bring'em in and you want them to make a pressured decision to fulfill your last day of the month deals? Wow!! I'm still in shock about this experience, the rudeness and making sarcastic comments at the end telling me I should make an appointment the beginning of the month to present me with the monthly offer/deal as it seems I need a lot of time to think..? Wow Lexus!!!??? I'm beyond disappointed. Joon needs to be better trained as it seems the last 17 years working with Lexus didn't teach him how to treat customers. I just want to remind him that I don't work for him; I'm the customer that contributes to his pay... I ask Lexus corporate to address this dealership accordingly. This dealership should shut down.
