Shadia emigrated from the Middle East to Detroit in 1971. Her parents and four siblings eventually moved to St. Clair Shores, a suburb of Detroit, to attend higher education schools. She is proud of becoming a Naturalized US Citizen while attending Wayne State University where she received a Bachelor's Degree in Math & Business Administration. In addition, Shadia holds the Series 7, Series 66 Registrations, and Life, Variable Annuity, Health and Long-Term Care Insurance licenses. Her career path includes working for Morgan Stanley, Prudential Securities, Stifel Nicholas and Wells Fargo Advisors, prior to when Doug Wood and herself joined the Legacy team.

® certification, they completed an intensive educational program and final examination covering Modern Portfolio Theory, Asset Allocation, Manager Search and Selection, Investment Policy, and Performance Measurement.
