Sharing my experience and warn people who may want to receive service from Tracy Ely a Torrance construction company or potential contractors interested in working under Tracy. He offered what he called a "High End Project owned by some rich asians" He approved our proposal and requested pre cleaning before our original start date. He promised $500 for precleaning. Invoice generated and sent May 31 2017 and today is October 20 2017 Tracy has avoided every call, email and USPS mail notice of late payment. Second item to be aware of, he has a tendency to "check out" female crew members. We brought in a team of 9 and 8 were females, two were constantly followed around by Tracy and his handyman. They felt uncomfortable and it was noted within the first hour of our start time. Tracy requested his handyman to ask one of my crew if she was single among other questions that were too personal and not work related. This female crew member quit working for us the next day. We were warned by the painters to "be on our toes" with Tracy, they said he had a very nasty attitude and demanding to the point where people didn't want to show up to work anymore. I experienced his attitude on our 2nd day of service. At end of our service he claimed "Nothing in the house had been touched" he said everything was dirty and he would have been better off to hire "illegals" at HomeDepot. His way to get out of paying the invoice. Sure enough he refused to pay unless we returned to clean the entire house again. We give him a third day of service no extra charge and he came in and he made a big list of things to do, he was yelling and cussing and throwing things and slapping walls and cabinetry and making a big scene in front of my employees. He left and never returned, and a young lady showed up with a hand written check that was only enough to pay for part of the services. She said "I was not authorized to pay any additional amount"
I urge people research before they hire this man.
