I went in paid my wife's balance as a surprise so she can pick up her ring as everyone obiously knows you cant pick up someone elses property. I even ask the guy to call her to come pick it up so I can witness the surprise. unfortunately she didnt answer and thereafter I lost the receipt. You dont want to lose a receipt especially at this pawn shop who stupidly states they dont give receipts...HUH? How can you expect to get paid cash and dont give a receipt? well that said they claim I never paid and the guy that collected does not exist!I make more money than they do and probably need everything they can get and get away with. Im glad I dont have to deal with this type of gangster practices not to mention the employees and attitude

Don't get played get paid. With Big Store Pawn Shop! The best price I have ever gotten when I sold my gold. The customer service these guy Steve present is prestige .There is no better pawnshop in the city of Torrance. I don't care what anybody says about these guys they are the most reasonable pawnbrokers you can ever meet.

selling fake jewelry as real!! I bought a gold ring for my wife for 300 dollars, I was told that it was real and solid gold, after about 4 months it started to wear and some black metal was showing through. We took it to the jewlers and they said it was only a cheap gold plating on it, which was very thin. thats why it wore down so quick. i called them and they just hung up on me. i would go down there but i currently live up north, so its not worth the 85 mile drive.
