We have eaten here for years. But something has happened at this restaurant, very miss managed, where is the family and owner???? May 5th we went in at 5PM, many orders going out, but no one in the restaurant was being served. 40 minutes later and no food, including those with no food when we walked in. We inquired were our food was, they said they did not know (?) A couple minutes later they started serving the people actually eating in the restaurant. However all the people that were waiting for take out were left just standing there. So it was clear that they did not have a enough cooks, to manage both their high demand for take out, catering sizes and the restaurant patrons. When I got my cheese enchiladas, they were not rolled up, just a tortilla folded over with cheese and some sauce. The environment was dirty, mold and dirt on the ceiling titles, and dirt on everything around the kitchen area. I looked down under the booth, there big holes in the wall, base boards were falling off, and trash was on the floor. I had diarrhea all the next day, and my stomach felt and still does 4 days later beat up. How is it that this restaurant has a "A" rating???
The Acapulco Cafe was closed permanently per the original founders son; Raymond Eredia is now enjoying retirement with his family in Torrance. I began my life eating the Cafe's food and will miss it dearly as a lifetime of being a patron.
Really good chilaquiles! They have other things, but why would you go to a place called Los Chilaquiles and not get chilaquiles? By the way, when they say "spicy," it's legitimately spicy. Awesome.
They kept looking at us a lot i don't like to be looked at while eating, ruins my appetite ..will never go back ! Service from waiters was good just other team people kept looking and me and friends do not like that wasn't a welcoming look!
Apparently closed Permanently... :(
