well i will not suggest for this place, the customer care is rude the managers who run the place are rude, maintainence time is quite high and if you follow up they will go bad as if u are asking a favor out of their job, you keep on waiting get frustrated and have to keep on calling and they are least bothered its just that if u dont find a place, stay for 1 month, find a place and move out as soon as u can, dont sign a lease else u are stuck. not sure if they make a big bill once you move out and your deposit is stuck....Think talk to ppl read reviews on other websites and u know wat i mean to say....
Absolutely the most unprofessional company! As a former manager here they have the worse operations manager running this place MYNOR C. This guys is the most evil person you will ever encounter anyone trying to apply you better have a second plan in place you speak out a little your terminated. The owner must be just as ignorant to not see he is ruining his reputation and company. Reviews say the truth! Landlords do not contract this company they hire on site manager to do other building as Independent contractors and neglecting yours. They have horrible communication and a horrible system in place and on top THEY DO NOT PAY VENDORS ON TIME making it hard to get anyone to come down and fix something. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.1002 Lakme Ave Wilmington
This company sucks! I wish I could give it negative stars. Management team is very rude and they never do anything when you put in a repair order. Very racist and discriminate against minorities and disabled people. Bugs all in apartment and rats outside by pool! The manager is the worse and very rude! Do not rent from these people ! Worse mistake I've ever made!
DO NOT RENT FROM HERE. First and foremost, you are never even given the name of the company that owns this building. They will tell you it's Las Casitas, LLC, but if you call Torrance government business licensing, you will find that it is actually owned by Blossom Apartments, LLC. They refuse to give you a phone number or real address, just a P.O. Box. If you have a complaint and the property managers aren't addressing it, who can you call? Likewise, what if you have a complaint about the property managers? They are not held accountable by anyone. What is the reason for all this secrecy? This business operates like a sham company, and for all that I know, might beThe property manager Daphne is unprofessional, rude and only pretends to address your concerns. When you show interest in leasing an apartment, Daphne and her husband will be extremely polite and attentive. But once you sign the one-year mandatory lease, Daphne's attitude undergoes a 180-degree transformation. The tenant living above me habitually was extremely loud. Three times she was so loud the police were called on her. Is that not cause to evict someone? But the managers took no action against her, so she continued her behavior without encountering any consequences. Daphne will answer your calls about problems with your plumbing, etc., but has no sense of urgency when it comes to dealing with the issues. And what's worse, she will act so annoyed by your calling her that you'll think twice before you do. My experience with this manager as well as the steady stream of noise (from construction and the many babies/children living in the building) caused me to decide against renewing my lease. Also, the plumbing was horrible. The water in my shower would scald me and then turn ice cold. And often, the waste from upstairs would come up in my sinks and toilet. Once Daphne received my final rent check—keep in mind she still has my close-to-$1,500 deposit—she stopped responding to my emails and dodged all my phone calls. I was merely calling to ask her about the process of moving out/returning the keys. I had already moved to a new apartment but had to drive 40+ miles to knock on her door, because there was no other way to reach her. When I inquired about how I could get my full deposit back, her husband told me that it's unlikely I would, because they check for such things as dust on the vents and fans, and other trivial things. And if you have issues with how much of your deposit you're returned, once again you have to write a P.O. Box that for all I know could belong to the property managers. I have lived in five different apartments, and this, by far, was the worst experience I have ever had. It is the only apartment I have not had the number of the owner or the company owning it. It is comparatively a very expensive apartment complex but offers nothing special. In fact, the other apartments on Amie Avenue all have pools and other amenities, but this one just claims to have amenities when all it has is a room with a treadmill that you can only use sometimes. The apartments are definitely not worth the high price. From the other tenants with whom I've spoken, I am not alone in feeling this way or alone in my frustration with the managers. This can probably explain why there has been a mass exodus from this apartment complex and so many apartments are for rent.
My agent was AMAZING! She follow through and responds to every e-mail and call quickly (come to think about it I don’t think I’ve ever needed to leave a message, she just always answers). My experience with South Bay Property Management has been extremely pleasant from start. Tim Kelley and his staff are very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. They always return my phone calls and emails right away. I would recommend Tim's company to anyone looking for a professional property manager in the South Bay area. Thanks Tim!
It’s never easy for a property manager to juggle the needs of the tenant and the needs of the owner I imagine. Powley Properties manages to walk that fine line though. They have always been fair to me and I can honestly say it’s been a breeze living in one of their properties. They take care of maintenance requests and even try to negotiate updates with the owner. Glad it’s not a me vs. them mentality. Good company.
Horrible people. I wish I could give them zero stars. I rented an apartment from them 3 years ago, gave a $900 security deposit. The new owner took over about 1 1/2 year ago. I moved because the current owner is a slum lord, after moving the slum lord tells me Mabry Management never transfered the deposit over and to go through them for your money. Guess what! This sorry company tells me the money tranfered over in Escrow. So I ask them to send me a letter I'm told no. So that tells me they're liers and have my money. If not, why I can't get a letter stating this so called fact so I can take the current slum lord to court? Becareful when renting from this company and ask what happens to your deposit when they no longer manage the building and to give a letter stating what will happen to you deposit. Also, these peoples attitude is ATROCIOUS. They need to take the Dale Carnegie class for customer service quick.
My experience here with Powley Properties has been great. They are always happy to help and respond quickly to inquiries, and take care of issues easily. I plan to stay with them for a long time.
