DO NOT TRUST – DISHONEST & UNETHICAL - I WOULD STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE!!!

They are dishonest and should not be trusted! Read on for full explanation. I own a roofing company that roofed the location where this business is located. During the process the roof leaked causing them damage. We were hired by Landlord (not EZPC) and worked with Landlord to remedy the problems. I personally wrote all business a check for any damages and everyone was happy – EXCEPT EZPC. I had personally written them a check for $1,174.78 to cover the damage. They determined they had damage over this amount, turned in to their insurance as were paid for all supposed damages. (They never let myself or Landlord see the “claimed” damages. I settled with their insurance company out of court - case closed - right? WRONG! These folks are SNEAKY, DISHONEST PEOPLE who just cashed the check (10/04/2012) I gave them 4 years earlier on 8/27/08 (they took to bank knowing full well what they were doing) and have now been paid twice for same issues - It is called INSURANCE FRAUD - DISHONESTY - UNETHICAL - RUDE - SNEAKY & OUTRIGHT WRONG!! Stay clear of these folks for your own safety & good!

Awesome Customer Service

My customer experience at EZ-PC Topeka has been totally AWESOME. I had downloaded an outlook program over the top of another outlook program and really messed up our email (my husband and I share a computer). I called and spoke with the crew at EZ-PC to get assistance due to my computer illiteracy. They said “you are on our email program (which by the way is GREAT if you want a personal/professional email address) why don’t you bring your tower in and it will just take us a few minutes to fix”. And it did, they fixed it in a jiffy (I struggled with the silly thing for 2 days before calling them) and because I was an exchange customer, no charge…You don’t find service like that every day.

We bought our desk top there about 8 months ago when our 8 year old HP motherboard completely fried. I made the decision at that time to use their exchange server for email due to professional concerns with a cox, yahoo or Hotmail account. The service/product has been so fantastic that when I was in there this week, my husband and I decided to purchase a laptop and router. We went out of town this weekend and it was great having a laptop to take with us so we could access our email and other programs.

Jesse and his crew have been extremely helpful in all our computer matters and we plan on being EZ-PC customers for a long time. It also brought me great satisfaction to support a locally owned business and to keep the money in Topeka as opposed to supporting one of the big chains that really does not care if I mess up my email or anything else in my computers. I have been extremely happy with the service, the people who have helped us and the products that we have purchased from EZ-PC.

These guys have been life-savers. They have fixed our computers several times and they have saved our rears several times! THey have even came by and made house calls to get us back and running! We switched to them to have our website hosted and it has been so much better!! Much less hassle! Highly Recommend

when i had a problem with my power to my toshiba laptop and to get a new hook up for it ezpc did an awsome job on getting it done in a timely manner and now my laptop works really well i will bring my laptop back if it needs to get fixed or viruses taken out of it. they are very nice people who really help you out alot...

VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH JESSE AND HOW HE HANDLES HIS BUSINESS. I DO NOT RECOMMEND YOU A BUY A COMPUTER FROM HIM IF YOU USE THE INTERNET. WE HAVE BEEN TRYING TO GET OUR COMPUTER FIXED FOR MONTHS. THEY CAN NEVER FIND ANYTHING WRONG WITH IT. NOW I'M BEING TOLD THAT A BUSINESS COMPUTER IS NOT MEANT TO GO ON THE INTERNET. SINCE PART OF MY BUSINESS REQUIRES I MANGE MY WEBSITE THAT REALLY DOESN'T WORK FOR ME. HE SHOULD OF TOLD ME WHEN WE BOUGHT THE COMPUTER IT WAS NOT MEANT FOR INTERNET. I THINK IT IT JUST ANOTHER EXCUSE FOR THEM NOT KNOWING WHAT THEY ARE DOING. BUY A MAC!!!!!

Skip the Geek Squad, go to EZ-PC.

EZ-PC is an awesome place. I took my HP to Best Buy and asked for a quote, it took 5 days to get a simple quote, just a quote. After about 2 days, they finally called back saying that it will be about a week before the computer is fixed. Which was totally ridiculous. Before they could finish the computer, i picked it up and took it to EZ-PC. In less than an hour EZ-PC called me and told me the problem, and that same day it was fixed. Not only is EZ-PC fast, but they are personal too. Jesse (the owner) and all of the other technicians take the time to go over different options to fix your computer and what suites you best. EZ-PC truely is sensational, don't waste your time at the Geek Squad or some other mediocre computer "repair" store. EZ-PC has my business, and the business of every one i know.

Fraudulent repair service

This company rips off it customers and when you are quoted a price over the phone it doubles when you get to the store. I my case their service tech came to my home and office a could not fix the computer problem I had and charged for his services and the next day a 12 year old child that lives next door came over and fixed the problem in 10 min by back dating the computer and it has worked great sence. I bought a 20 hard drive on Saturday and took it home and it was no good and on Monday took my computer to the EZ PC store with a 10 gig hard drive as the master which had windows 2000 pro on it that worked and wanted it cleaned so I could put my windows XP on it and the price doubled when I got to the store. When I got home I plugged it in and it didn't work and I took the hard drives out to check and see if they put the master right and the 10 gig that worked with windows 2000 when it went into the store at EZ PC was gone and the sticker that had the key on the side was gone and replaced with a different hard drive a 20 gig. I took the two hard drives to another repair shop I knew of and they checked the two 20 gig drives and found them both to be BAD. On Monday night before I found out that the 10 gig hard drive was stolen by EZ PC took my girlfriend into EZ PC (we were the only one's in the store)and we looked at new PC's and the prices that were marked on the PC's were kinda high and when I talked to the girl she said that add 200.00 more for updates and service to get the PC ready to take home and I told my girlfriend that we needed to go to best buy and check their prices and we left the store and went to best buy and found a laptop I like which was cheaper that EZ PC. I bought extra memory with the laptop and the next day call and checked on putting it in at EZ PC and was quoted 20.00 and told them I would bring it in and a shot time later Jessy Klinefelter called me and said that they didn't want my business because I took customers from his store and took them to best buy. There was no one in the store when my girlfriend and I were in the store and can only believe that the other repair shop called him because I did tell them that it just came out of EZ PC. Jessy Klinefelter's EZ PC is a ripoff and would not recommend this store to anyone. Charles Freeman, Freeman Investment Services, LLC 785-354-7875

I (Jesse Klinefelter - owner) am surprised once in a while by the blatant falsehoods that are occasionally spread by a really bad customer. Unfortunately, for every couple of hundred people that you can please with excellent customer service, great prices, and rapid response time..... there is one like Charles Freeman. We had the unfortunate luck of meeting Charles Freeman during a routing on-site service. He claimed to have a multi-million dollar business and convinced us to come right away as he was losing tons of money because of downtime. We arrived to find his office in his living room..... with computer that should be in a museum..... My technician attempted to "fix" the computer in a manner that would allow Charles to continue as he had been operating for a short time more. He was warned that the computers were FAILING and that they needed to be replaced immediately. Please notice that he refers to a fix by "rolling back the date"...... that is because he has illegal software that he was trying to get around activation... and we refused to support it do to liabilities. Anyway, we "fixed" his computers to his satisfaction and left. As warned, the computer did not last long..... in fact not even a day.... probably because he and whoever helped him tried to defeat the illegal software lockouts (speculation only). Strange… I thought he had a multi-million dollar business??? Next, Charles came to the store to get a new hard drive (one of the failing components)...... one problem however.... he could not afford a new one... not even at wal-mart prices..... He absolutely insisted on a used hard drive. I personally sold him a used hard drive under advisement that there would be no warranty and that it could fail at any time as well. Mr. Freeman again insisted..... so ok.... I won't turn business away if you are fully aware of the risk.... Ok...... so the hard drive failed..... as predicted..... Mr. freeman returned and began to interrupt every conversation going on between customers and technicians so that he could tell people how horrible he thought EZ-PC was. Even though he did this.... I swapped out the hard drive for a different used one (you know, the one that I told him had absolutely no warranty.... I traded it out under warranty). So the "new" used hard drive failed as well..... Mr. Freeman called to let us know that he was coming by to trade it out for a new one again..... this by the way was right after one of his checks had been returned to us by the bank for reason of a stop payment. I felt obligate to inform Mr. Freeman that we were no longer interested in his business and that he should seek help from any of my competitors if he should need it in the future!!! Of course, all of Mr. Freeman's check came back stop payment. I have sent him to collections and plan to take him to small claims court soon. In fact, I had my attorney do some investigation on Charles Freeman to see what this guy was all about...... he sent back the following link..... Trust me.... you should check this out!
