Rural Water District #4

I spent 3 days without water and all the care to do is laugh. I am disabled and live on a set income. They charged me an extra $140 to have water service. I had a mix up with the bank and the bank immediately saw the issue and reversed the charges. However this mixup occurred at the same time that my water bill was due to be auto drafted. They did not resubmit the bill nor did they notified me that there was a problem. That was not even the worst thing. When I went to pay my bill the employees laughed at the fact that I had a problem. They did not care about anything I had to say and acted as if it was funny. When I told the manager that I would submit a complaint to his boss he said, " I AM THE BOSS AND THERE IS NOTHING YOU CAN DO TO ME" Then he actually laughed in my face. My husband told him he was acting like a little kid in the schoolyard because he was being so rude with me. The manager is a big man and he rushed over to my husband and got approximately 3 inches from him with his chest puffed out and he towered over my husband just barely from pushing him. He was acting JUST like a schoolyard bully. He taunted my husband and said something like oh yeah what are you going to do about it? I was actually worried that he was going to hit my husband. And this is the boss. Even his employees, who were also laughing at me, looked surprised and embarassed by this man's actions.
I have never encountered such un-professionalism in my life. Nor do I ever remember being treated, taunted and disrespected to the degree that this man did. I suggest that you never ever deal with anyone from this office in person. Never be even a few days late paying your water bill, and do not turned your back to the manager.
