Kitchen Remodeling
The Den opens to a trellised patio that leads to the Pool house across the property. The Pool House was designed as a simple trellised farmhouse to mirror the vernacular of the primary residence. It is enjoyed as a place for family and friends to gather and enjoy the property. It includes a full kitchen and bath and loft sleeping spaces.
Bathroom Remodeling
This interior project consists of a new kitchen, bath, and flooring. The existing home is a unique mid-century meets French Regency style. Our goal was to create an open mixed vernacular kitchen and bath that offered better physical and visual flow for the entire space.
Flooring
Fireplaces
Located on an estate property in Encino, CA, this 1920s farmhouse was rethought and remodeled to included the addition of a large foyer and mud room, and an open kitchen with den. The addition expanded the home while bringing a light lofty feel to mimic the open beam area of an existing Victorian living room. GLYNN designbuild managed all aspects of the Architecture and General Contracting for the home and property. Included in this work was the restoration of a large Victorian fireplace mantle and wall trim detailing.
Skylight Repair/Replacement
Mid Century modern stripped down then built back up. GLYNN designbuild completely brought the house back to life by stripping wood, adding skylights, re-orienting the pool, and opening up the house to the amazing Topanga outdoors.

New Construction
We are experienced in all phases of residential design and construction. We offer schematic design/early design study, site planning, construction documents, and permitting. Full construction services include cost analysis, feasibility study, schedule analysis, construction, construction management, and client representation.

Landscaping and Fencing

Landscaping
GLYNN designbuild worked as both Architect and General Contractor for this home remodel. We enjoyed working with Larry Schmitt on interior design and Jeff Lindfors of LPO inc on landscape design.

Window Installation/Replacement
Decks
Just above the Hollywood Bowl, the home sits back from the canyon with decks cantilevering off the pool.
