Ordered a birthday cake for my husband here. Was very disappointed, I specifically wanted real whip cream. I don't know what they used but it wasn't real cream. I also requested cannoli filling which was very scant. There baked goods look a lot better than they taste, I think LaScala is much better.

Excellent Italian bakery. I finally found my go-to bakery since I hate La Scala's (especially the front personnel), they have personalities like a bread stick! Just had a piece of the Pastiera (grain pie). Out of this world. Real authentic stuff. The pignoli cookies are spot on. The pasta chiotto (the cross) is really good and moist. Not like La Scala's dry cakish garbage. So many desserts at Pondrelli's and the staff is so pleasant and nice. Try it, you will like it. Prices are very reasonable also. Now for the cannoli's......
