If I could give this place no stars I would, lets start with my perfectly healthy grandmother (62yrs) went to get gastric bypass surgery, she came out of the surgery fine on thursday, friday I spoke to her and she was her complete normal self, on saturday she went back to the hospital in unbareable pain no doctor saw her for over 12 hours, NOT even her own doctor Steven J Binenbaum who didnt show his face until sunday morning on sunday she went code blue when they were moving her from the bed to the gurney, after they revived her and took her into emergency surgery the neighbor patient sharing the room had told us that the nurses dropped her on the floor in the transporting process, during the emergency surgery they came to find that one of her staples was not stapled properly causing her to lose 2liters of blood into her intestines, she came out of surgery doctors said she was going to make a full recovery leading us to false hope, then things turned even more for the worse they left her with 4% brain activity. as of monday night at 9:17 we gained another angel all because of negligence practice. I've heard horror stories from this hospital, please no one get a surgery done here my family would not want this to happen to another family. We are devastated. This could have been prevented if negligence wasn't a key factor.
I spent 4 months at this facility hoping for help. Unfortunately this program is not helpful at all. First off, in order to be considered an IOP, you have to go a minimum of 9 hours but this program is 7 hours. The counsellors start groups late and end them early which leaves you little time to get the help you need. There is no set schedule to see your counselor or the nurse practitioner either. You must request time with either and that's not easy to get considering they are over populated to begin with. If you are looking for compassion and understanding, look elsewhere. I've watched others including myself go through a crisis and be ignored by counselor after counselor. My own counselor walked right past me and didn't even acknowledge my existence. I should not have left that day in the shape I was in but not a care in the world was given even after I let the program director know I was having difficulty and could barely breathe. find another caring facility like genpsych in brick!
This hospital is NOOOOOOOOOOO good my sister been there a lot this last time she went to hospital and was sent there again was there 7 days and said she was ready to come home oh bull I knew she wasn't and no she wasn't at all so now me and my sister is trying to take care of her but I think she will end up back in hospital im so mad at them I know that place no good I have had dealing with them in the pass but the thing is when they go to the hospital most time they send them there one time I ask can you place send her to another hospital I oh well them didn't also when she was moved from that hosp to here they never called us I had to call the pay phone and ask for her and she was there place no good drs staff theres just there for there pay check
The psychiatrist and nurse practitioners are awful. The social worker flat out lied about my daughter regarding a medication. My daughter was getting more depressed and anxious being in this facility. After my daughter was discharged, she decided to try the outpatient program. The NP that she was assigned to was very unprofessional and making ridiculous comments to her. I left a message with the supervisor of the program who did not even have the decency to return my call. Needless to say, my daughter refused to go back there. I would not recommend this facility to anyone.
Don't let anyone go to this hospital! The only thing I was satisfied with is the way the social worker did her job, but not all of them are good there. Kaitlyn D was excellent she let us know progress made and what exactly was going on at this hospital. The doctor there was not good with the family members and did not contact us once! There were 5-6 medication changes in 3 weeks! That is not legal from a doctors point of view...so please AVOID THIS HOSPITAL
Came down for a two week vacation and my provider does not work around here so I was in need of oxygen refill and they were very rude, even with my doctor. They didn't want to service me because I was not their patient and this is "peek season"?!Not cool.
The worst medical provider in the country. Too stupid to be in the business of providing medical care. Over billing, negligent incompetent treatment. Go north of 195 if you want credible medical care. A death bed for certain
