This Place is a joke. The owner is rude. He is a joke. His equipment is crap like his attitude. DO NOT RENT FROM THIS PLACE. If you do not take this warning then you are stupid.

The owner of this place is a complete jerk. They don't do walk arounds of their equipment before allowing you to leave with it (or even help load it) then want to claim you broke all kinds of stuff! Very unprofessional!! I will never do business with these clowns ever again!

The owner of this place is very rude and unprofessional. I try to return a heater that was defective I was waiting for the owner for more than an hour to get out the phone. Then he send one of his employees to get a propane tank to test the unit. This guys is a joke please stay away from this place

In my 22 years of construction sales and management I have never met anyone as rude and unprofessional as the owner of Hilltop Tool Rental. After renting 2 concrete power trowels (which I had called earlier in the week about and been told that they have plenty) I realized that one of them was not the full size after getting to the job site. I called immediately and was told that they did not have anymore, but would I like them to check with the owner to see if he would rent me one of their new machines? Rather than trouble them with checking into renting a new machine, I found another full sized one at another place and I called and told them that and that I would bring back the small one to which they said okay. When I got there to return it, I was told that I could only get a store credit which messes up the paperwork for the job on my end. So I asked for them just to run a credit on my card. The owner came out and told me he didn't care what I had been told and that was all he was going to do. I accepted that even though I didn't want to and the paperwork was filled out. Afterward I walked to his office and told him very calmly and man to man that I thought that he handled that very unprofessionally to which he yelled at me that he did not need my bleeping business and for me to get the bleep out of his store. I build 12 to 15 custom houses a year and deal with hundreds of vendors. I've never seen anyone come even close to the disgusting level that the owner of Hilltop Tool Rental displayed today...and over a $75 rental. Shame on him. He doesn't even deserve one star.
